"I'm an idiot," Charcoal muttered to himself. "I just...just forget I said anything," Charcoal said quietly, wishing desperately that he could just hide and forget this conversation had come up.

"Alright." Mira shrugged and looked around.

"I was mostly keeping to myself, scavenging buildings for thing to sell to caravans. Aside from that, I was living alone in a shack somewhere between Old Appleloosa and Dodge Junction."

"Fun life, eh?" Jayne thinks fora moment. "For most time I was just wandering here and there, looking for work and never stayed in one place for long."

Charcoal laid there quietly hating himself for being such a coward.

After a few minutes of silence he turned to Mirabelle. "I'm sorry Miri. Finding out you were alive this whole time...it...it brought up a lot of memories."

"No need to be sorry, it brought back a lot for me too," she told him with a grin. "I thought I'd forgotten about all the crazy stuff we used to do, and it's nice to remember something good for once."

[Orm]

"I liked enjoyed it, at least I could go a day without something shooting at me. But to each their own I guess." He says before taking a swig from the bottle and offers it to Jayne.

[Katarn]

Looks at bottle, then takes it and makes few gulps. Then he returns bottle.
"Good stuff."

[XT Vengeance]

"Yeah. Remember when we were young and snuck out of the village to explore? Then we ran all the way home screaming because we saw a couple of rad roaches," Charcoal said with a chuckle.

[Orm]

"Yup." Searchlight took another drink then looked at Novae sleeping. "So, you okay with her being with Quiver?" He asked Jayne.

[CamoBadger]

Miri chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, and we tried to pay the Brahmin to go kill them for us."

[Katarn]

"They seem happy together, so why not." He pauses. "Though I still would beat the crap out of him, if he hurts her."
Sighs and looks at Novae. "I think she knows better what good for her, than I do."

[Orm]

"That comes with being a dad. No matter how much you trust them, you still want to keep them safe." He said before taking another swig.

[XT Vengeance]

"Yeah. We were a couple of troublemakers. Remember when we tried used to play tag all around the town with the other foals? And that time that you his in Miss Tulip's flower pot?" Charcoal said with a chuckle, his mood starting to brighten.

[CamoBadger]

"It seemed like a good idea at the time," Mira argued jokingly.

[Katarn]

"Yeah...I never asked for this..not regretting it though." Jayne said, while watching Novae quietly snore.

[XT Vengeance]

"It was until she came out of her house and found you there, covered in dirt," Charcoal said with a laugh. "I really wonder sometimes where we would be if things hadn't gone so wrong," Charcoal said wistfully.

Mira nodded and hung her head. "Happier, maybe."

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal placed his hoof around Mirabelle's shoulder. "Hey, we still found each other after all these years. At least we have that," he said, trying to cheer her up.

[CamoBadger]

"Yeah, you're right." She agreed and looked back at the shopping center. "And maybe I'll feel better after getting rid of the assholes who ruined us."

[XT Vengeance]

"Maybe," Charcoal said to his friend, his voice hopeful. "So...what are you going to do after this?"

[CamoBadger]

"I don't know, I never thought about it," she responded quietly. "I don't know if I'll have anything to do after this, it's all I want now."

[Orm]

Searchlight took a quick drink before putting the bottle back in his bag. "I don't know about you, but getting pretty tired. I think I'm going to get some sleep." He tells Jayne.

[XT Vengeance]

"You could travel with me," Charcoal suggested. "You are my best friend Miri. I'm going to do everything I can to help you find whatever it is that you want."

[Katarn]

"Same here." Jayne crawled on his bedroll and slowly drifted to sleep.

[CamoBadger]

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Mira asked. "Your fiance doesn't exactly like me around you," she explained with a huff.

"She'll have to deal with it. I'm not abandoning you, and that's final," Charcoal said with determination.

I can't lose you again Miri.

"I'll think about it," she told him and looked back at the shopping center.
