Plasmafire raised an eyebrow and cocked his head. "Whadaya mean, that's a first?"

Twiggy frowned a bit at Shadefire's words and tilted her head to the side. She offered him a smile and reached over to pat him on the shoulder--albeit, tentatively, as she wasn't sure if she was invading his space or not.

"I think it's pretty cool that the school sent you a letter like that, Shadefire."

Inwardly, she envied him; she wished that she had been skilled enough to be recognised by such a prestigious school without having to take the entrance exam.

She straightened when Ferrous spoke up, tilting her head to the side.

*I never really read my letter, come to think of it. Oh well, I'm sure it was nothing like theirs.*

"So," Ferrous said, "Is everypony excited for the new school? Or nervous? Or being gripped by a form of abject terror?" He grinned nervously.

Plasmafire grinned. "I'm excited! A bit nervous, sure, but I packed everything I could ever need here... And then some. And some more... And the kitchen sink actually... But I digress!"

"Never been in the school before. I have no idea where anything is."

"The first two floors are just classrooms. The average run of the mill school from here."

Nidal walked up the stairs, Larva following.
"The cafeteria and kitchen are on the third floor. This is where you'll eat nearly all of your meals, of course."

"This is where most of everypony's free time is spent. There's a library, an arcade, the living room, and a few other rooms."

"Here is where males sleep. So you'll have a room here."
She went up one more floor.
"And this is where females sleep. Above us is where the staff sleep, students aren't allowed in there. Above that is a floor which no student, present or past, knows what is in there. Any other questions?"

Twiggy reflected Ferrous' nervous smile and laughed apprehensively, rubbing the back of her neck.

"I-I'd say abject terror hits the nail on the head."

However, it was good to know that others were as nervous as she was.
