Other: high level of determination when i put my mind to it, lazy if i'm indifferent. I have trouble making friends seeing as i'm less than an appealing figure with a strange and labyrinthian mind, but the few friends i have are some of the best that anypony could ask for!

Other: Each of the 3 of them is a different pony.

Larva opened the gate to the massive school. He felt his nervousness rise as he looked at how big the school really was, as if it rose to the sky.
He slowly started to walk towards the entrance.

Personality: Playful, fun loving, good sense of humor.

Personality: A little on the socially awkward side, she tends to be self-conscious, especially around new ponies. She loves biology, and can end up acting like a bit of a know-it-all on the subject. Despite this, she is kind and polite and likes to have fun with her friends.
Specialty: Entomology - A twig with a lady bug on it.
Description: Twiggy is a tall, thin, dark teal unicorn with a short purple mane and tail. Her eyes are yellow and she wears dark green glasses. She also has white freckles on each cheek.
Other: Has a pet mudpuppy named Mondegreen.

Nidal walked to the front door of the school.

Larva turned around and saw a mare walking up to the school as well.

He walked towards her and said in his usual voice,
"Are you new to this school as well?"

Ferrous stumbled as he made his way to the front entrance of the school. As he stumbled, one of his saddlebags emptied out on the floor in front of him. He scrabbles to try to gather his stuff, but ends up slipping on a loose pen and falling face first into the floor.

Tired from having flown in from a small town a few miles away from Ponyville, Shadefire lands near the front gates. Seeing a few other ponies in conversation, he wonders if he'll meet any friends here. Mindful of his surroundings, he patiently awaits for the main doors to open

Twiggy carefully cantered up the cobbled walkways of the academy, her yellow eyes glimmering in wonderment. She paused, looking up at the main gates, and shifted her backpack against her side.

"W-Wow... I didn't think it was going to be this big..."

Distracted by the sheer size of the building, the bespectacled unicorn continued walking and softly bumped into another pony along the way.

"Oops! I'm so sorry I--"

She paused, noticing that the other pony's things had scattered about on the ground, and she immediately came to the conclusion that it had been her fault.

"O-Oh! I'm sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going! Let me help you..."

Blushing furiously, she bent over and began to help the fallen pony pick up his things.

[Moonlight]

Eyes shifting across the ground, Shadefire waited.

[Ferrous_Oxide]

Ferrous promptly removed his face from it's position in the ground, and noticed the unicorn who had begun to apologize for bumping into him and had begun to help pick up his stuff. As he began to pick up the rest of his things he spoke.
"There's no need to apologize. I think I tripped over a rock or something," he said, "And thank you for helping me out."

Overhearing a ruckus behind him, Shadefire turned toward the unicorn and the earth pony, and said "Hello there, I don't mean to interrupt, but you two look like you could use some help"

Twiggy's previously tense form significantly relaxed upon the acknowledgment that she hadn't been the cause of the little spill. She exhaled visibly and audibly, allowing her anxiety to taper off into nothingness. The teal mare offered a friendly smile and handed the other pony his things.

"You're quite welcome," she replied softly.

However, concern trickled back into her expression as she realised that Ferrous had fallen rather harshly to the ground. She emitted a small squeak of surprise when another pony spoke. Having not notice him approach, it had startled her a bit. She smiled, nevertheless, and nodded in greeting.

"H-Hello. He had a bit of a fall, but I think he's alright..." Twiggy explained briefly before turning to Ferrous once again. "Are you alright?"

[Moonlight]

"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," replied Shadefire. "I tend to do that a lot without meaning too.. I guess it's just natural with my talent being fear..... Sorry again."

[Ferrous_Oxide]

Ferrous had turned to look at the pegasus who had inquired to his well being, but before he could speak the unicorn was already talking. After the unicorn had finished talking, and asked if he was alright, he responded.
"Yeah, I'm all right," he said to both the unicorn and the pegasus, "Although my face is a bit sore after it had that nice little conversation with the ground." He chuckled.
"My name's Ferrous by the way," he said as he extended his hoof in greeting, "What are yours?" he asked to the pegasus and unicorn.

[Plasmafire]

Plasmafire trotted happily up to the school, whisting a tune as he shifted his over loaded saddle bags. He always overpacked for some reason, he didn't know why. He smiled when he saw a group of ponies, a teal one, a brownish one, and a reddish one. He clopped over to them and smiled. "Hey there! You guys new to the school?"

[Moonlight]

"Name's Shadefire," the pegasus responded. He smiled as he said this, in hopes that he had stumbled across two ponies who might accept him as a friend despite his difference which were, at the time, not apparent.

Suddenly, he heard another pony speaking in his direction, and without turning, he said "Yes, and yourself?"

[Plasmafire]

Plasmafire nodded and chuckled. "You betcha! Just got here, in fact! I'm Plasmafire, pleased to meet you!"

[OverlordTwiggy]

Twiggy shook her head and waved her hoof dismissively at the red pegasus, smiling all the while.

"It's alright. I'm pretty easily spooked, anyway," she explained, chuckling softly.

She paused, though, musing about this pony's particular talent. It was interesting. Before she could inquire, the fallen pony had spoken up, and she was visibly relieved that he was alright. She laughed a bit at his wording and extended her hoof towards his.

"Nice to meet you, Ferrous; I'm Twiggy." She paused yet again before adding, "And nice to meet you, Shadefire." She extended her hoof to him, as well.

The bespectacled unicorn blinked in slight surprise as yet another pony approached them, and she smiled shyly toward him.

"Hello, Plasmafire. I'm Twiggy."

She could feel a bit of nervousness begin to well up within her as the group grew larger and larger. Twiggy did her best to hide it, hoping that her eyes didn't deceive her.

Ferrous turned to look at the orangeish unicorn who had called towards himself and the two ponies with whom he had been talking.
"Hello," he said, "My name's Ferrous. Nice to meet you Plasmafire. And you too Shadefire. And I have to say thank you once again for helping me, Twiggy." Ferrous turned to each of the ponies as he spoke to them.

[Moonlight]

Turning, retracting his extended hoof from the Ferrous and Twiggy, and re-extending it toward Plasmafire, "I'm Shadefire, as Ferrous said, and that's Twiggy," he said motioning toward the teal unicorn who was at this point fixing her glasses. "Nice to meet you."

A modest smile curled the bespectacled pony's lips as she shrugged her shoulders, casting her yellow gaze to the ground.

"Don't mention it," she murmured as she pawed at the ground shyly.

However, she heard her name and quickly looked up, her glasses going askew as she did so. Twiggy adjusted them and blinked curiously.

"Hm? O-Oh yes, that's me." She chuckled softly.

[Plasmafire]

Plasmafire enthusiastically shook Shadefires hoof and smiled at the group. "It's great to meet you guys! So, how'd you all end up here?"

[Moonlight]

"I was sent a letter saying that my skills were an invaluable addition to the school so I was sent here from a small Everfree Forest border village called Darkwood," responded the pegasus

[Ferrous_Oxide]

"I got my letter of acceptance after I took multiple entry exams," Ferrous said,"If there's one good thing about having trivia as your special talent, it's that you always have some sort of fact for every occasion, especially tests."

[OverlordTwiggy]

"I decided to apply when I heard they had great science facilities," Twiggy explained, thinking back to the arduous task of studying and the stressful wait for the acceptance letter.

She shifted a bit and brought a hoof up to fiddle with her glasses once again.

"To be honest, I didn't think I was going to get in. I don't do very well under pressure..." She trailed off, chewing her lip in thought.

[Moonlight]

"I guess I'm the odd one out again, huh?" Shadefire sighed quietly, remembering his family. He had always been the black sheep, so to speak.
