The group passes Zeroc as they talked and she began to wal besides them.

[Moonlight]

Shadefire noticed that their group had picked up another pony, a yet unknown unicorn.

"Hello," said Shadefire coolly, realizing he was the only one of the four walking who had yet seen this newcomer.

[Linguz]

Zeroc nodded and replied.
"Hello."

[Moonlight]

"You walk with confidence in these halls," Shadefire started, "would it be wrong for me to assume that you aren't new here?"

[Linguz]

Zeroc nodded again.
"Been here for two years now. Why do you ask?

[Moonlight]

"Just curious." A pause. "Say could you tell me if the school has been this empty for the two years you've been here?"

[Linguz]

Zeroc shook her head.
"The first year I arrived, it was packed with students. The next year, last year, there was less than a quarter left. Nearly all of them left between last year and this year."

[Moonlight]

"That's odd," replied Shadefire, uncertainly. "I wonder why the left."

[Linguz]

*I don't...*
Zeroc shrugged.
"Who knows?"

[Ferrous_Oxide]

Ferrous walked along with the group and only noticed the new pony when Shadefire began to converse with her. Ferrous waited for Shadefire and the newcomer to finish before speaking.
"Well," he said, "Odd or not, it's the way things are right now. And I don't believe we got your name." He directed his last comment at the new pony.

[Linguz]

Zeroc looked at the other one.
"And I never got yours."

[Ferrous_Oxide]

Ferrous looked at the newcomer.
"My name's Ferrous," he said jovially.

[Linguz]

Zeroc grunted.
"Zeroc here. What about yours, kid?"
She directed her question at the first pony who spoke to her.

[Moonlight]

"Shadefire."
He nodded apologetically.
"Sorry for not making that a priority, should be pretty easy to tell I'm not great with names, haha."

Name: Silent Melody
Species: Unicorn Pony - Wereworg
Gender: Female
Personality: Intelligent, Quick, Understanding and generally silent.
Specialty: Melody is and always has been an excellent player of nearly all instruments, especially the flute - Thus the C-Clef cutie mark. Her only magical abilities besides basic spells lie in Sound wave production and alteration.
Description: She has a dark navy blue coat and a slightly lighter shaded blue mane and tail that are generally well kept.
Other: Due to her 'condition' and relationship with the moon, She has come to fear the night and anything associated with it. Melody especially fears the full moon, which brings about a feral version of her 'condition.' No one ever sees her at night. For these reasons and many more, she is on a constant search for the cure to her 'condition.'

Silent Melody rolled over in the cover of the bushes and yawned. She opened her eyes to see her hooves, a relief considering what they had been before.She checked her teeth as well.
A bit sharp, but nothing any pony will notice.
She checked her ears, and noticed they were just a bit more pointed than most pony's. She decided that she was close enough to normal, and that the time was now to enter the school. She picked up her one bag of belongings and slid them over her back, then looked out of the bushes for about a minute, being sure that no pony was watching. Melody wandered out of the bushes and started to proceed up to the front door of the school, and wandered in.

[Moonlight]

As Shadefire and the group continued with the group, he heard the front door open and shut behind him. He looked back to see a unicorn with a purple coat and relatively sharp, distinctive features enter the building. He stood there for a moment.
*Another pony.. I should get to know her, considering how desolate this place is.*
Shadefire turned back and realized he was falling behind the group.
*Maybe later,* he thought, *I shouldn't draw any unnecessary attention to myself by falling behind... For now, I just need to fit in.*
Shadefire picked up his pace and resumed his place in the group in which he was walking.

[Octavia]

Silent Melody looked around the room and instantly noticed how empty it seemed.
*Such a large school would logically have a large amount of students, would it not?*
She noticed a red Pegasus in a group looking at her for a moment before moving on. Melody met his eyes for a moment before a realization hit her.
*Crap! I didn't check my eyes. Oh god, please let them be normal.*
Melody decided to follow the group from a distance, not wanting to intrude on anything, but not wanting to wander around and get lost. She also hoped to not be closely observed for a little while, let her features become completely normal.

[Moonlight]

The five in front proceeded to the second floor in the direction of the auditorium with little conversation, passing several empty classrooms on the way.
*I wonder if the teachers "just left" as well?* thought Shadefire. *And what's with this Zeroc pony anyway? The way she shrugged off the lack of students without even a hint of curiosity coming from somepony who's been here for two years already? Somethings clearly off.*
Shadefire grinned slightly to himself. *Weird stuff. Right up my alley.*
