Agreed. It's just another, "Here's all the creepy shit a fandom has put out" article, they did it with every major fandom and honestly it's about damn time we got one.

"Horn magic shotguns"? "Graphic rape and sex scenes"? Did these guys do their research on 4chan?

If they wanted to show odd or awful writing, they should have chosen a quote that was actually bad (God knows there are some). Likewise, wouldn't it have been far more effective to link "five-volume collection" to an actual picture of the five volume hardcover? Such pictures are hardly difficult to find.

I know the article is humorous, but it was also just terribly lazy on Eric's and Dustin's part.

(Aside: listening to Vertikal, Cult of Luna's new album. Friggin' thing comes pretty close to a vague retelling of the Nightmare Moon arc from Luna's POV. It's also got some great songs so far. )

This is just something that I've been idly pondering (classes having been canceled today due to icing), but what do you think of this

Schedule:

as the schedule for the New Canterlot Republic Railway's Manehattan-Fillydelphia Express (the name of the train is provisional)? If the Equestrian week has an odd number of days, the extra one could, I suppose, be for maintenance more extensive that that done by the night shifts in Fillydelphia. The idea is that the train would be pulled by the Marellard, which was discovered magically preserved in a museum, restored, and converted to burn alcohol from Stalliongrad (which is what all of the NCRR's locomotives run on; the NETC's diesels would ordinarily be extremely stiff competition, but the NCRR has the great advantage of being domestic rather than foreign and is therefore looked on much more favorably by the NCR).

Also, any thoughts as to what a Brunel gauge LNER A4 would look like?
