Cherry looks at Clock"Do ya have somethin' on yer mind, sugar cube? Or are ya really just that curious?"

[Ironmonger]

He looks at Shadow for a moment. "Somezing is wrong. Vat is it?"

[Tytan]

Clock sighs, but keeps looking at the bodies, "I've got a lot of things on my mind. Quite a few of them I'd rather not talk about.

What I will say is that I don't understand death.

I mean I get it as a concept. One minute you're here, and the next you're not.

I don't get why."

Shadow looks at Cast then back out into the wasteland"Nothin' of yer concern, big guy.*He shakes his head*We got a job ta do, lets not get distracted."

Cherry shrugs"Ah don't know, it's just suppose ta happen, ya know. Circle of life and all that."

[Tytan]

"Then what about Viktor? What about Ghouls? What about the Royal Sisters? As far as I know they'll never die. Viktor's obvious, he's cybernetically enhanced. But what about the other two?"

"Don't know, can't tell ya. And what do ya mean? The princesses died along time ago. Everypony known that since the eclipse happened."

[Tytan]

Clocks ears perk, "Wait, what?"

[Guest]

"Yeah, the eclipse."She says slightly annoyed"Didn't anypony ever teach ya 'bout that when ya were a foal?"

[Ironmonger]

"As you vish. If I'm correct, our employer vants some sort of identifier. Keep an eye out for any markers of some sort, like brass-casings of a specific caliber or some sort of badge. Zat's all I really know to do."

[Tytan]

Clock looks over at Cherry, "Hun, I've never seen the sun. Ever. I'm not sure anyone has for going on two hundred years."

[Guest]

Cherry facehooves"Oh right, dirtsiders don't know 'bout that. Sorry 'bout that. Any ways an eclipse happened maybe 160 years ago. 'Caused a big fuss massive riots and various other illegal activities. It was said that the behavior was caused because at that point everypony knew the the princesses were dead."

Shadow nods "Yeah, that's probably a good idea. Ya sure ya didn't notice anythin' on the gear?"

[Tytan]

Clock gapes, not fully processing what she just heard.

[Guest]

Cherry looks slightly confused at Clocks expression"What, ya didn't honestly think the princesses were still around did ya?"

[Tytan]

"Ah-I don't know. I kinda hoped I guess..."

[Ironmonger]

"Positive, but it could not hurt to double-check. I imagine nine and ten-milluhmeetuh rounds vould be zeh most common, vith zeh occasional forty-five, so if ve see some different casings like a three-fifty-seven or four-fifty-eight ve might know who vas shooting. I doubt zose are common."

[Guest]

"Right then, lets get too it."

Cherry notices that Clock seems upset."Oh, well, uh sorry. But yeah..."

[Tytan]

"I-I think I need a minute."

[Guest]

"R-right, just uh, take a seat. And uh, relax."

[Tytan]

Clock sits and hides her face behind her legs. She;s muttering.

[Guest]

Cherry looks at Clock and bites her lower lip Dammit, Cherry, now look what ya've gone and done."There, there, ma'am. It's uh, gonna be all right?"She rubs her hoof along Clocks back.

[Tytan]

Clock mutters to herself, between quiet sobs.:

Cherry hears the muttering but can't quite make out what she's saying. She continues to rub her back[charisma 7 (9+2)]"now, now, sugar cube. Everythin' is gonna work out just fine. Now, why don't ya tell auntie Cherry whats wrong, hmm?"She says sweetly

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron trots around the camp looking for clues as he sings an old marching song. He's practiced off and on for seven years and knows what notes to hit and how to hit them. "Ja, wer marschiert in Feindesland

Clock looks up, her eyes are dripping tears, "I'm to blame. Not all of them, but enough. Not divine intervention. Not their time. My fault."

[Guest]

"Sugar cube, ya can't blame yer self. Death happens, 'specially out here. A lot of times there just ain't nothin' ya can do 'bout it. All ya can do is accept it, and move on. And if yer lucky, ya will stop it from happenin' next time ya help somepony."

[Tytan]

Clock is crying less, "I've been telling myself that for years. Some of them are dead when they come to me. Some of them can't be helped. But what about the others? The ones who didn't have to die? The ones who came to me with the sniffles and died coughing up blood?"

[Guest]

"Ah don't know, ah guess that's just bad luck. But that's not somethin' ya can control, sugar cube, sometimes it's just their time. All ya can do is try yer best and hope that's enough."

"Tell that to them."
