I still don't get what makes the T29 any good. I hated it. A lot, from what I remember.
Good gun with garbage MM. Nothing else.
Then again, that was a good while ago. Getting through the T32 took a long time, considering I didn't play much.

You might want to give it another try. The T29 is the only 7 I'm fully confident in going head to head against T9s in. It's one of the few tanks in the game that has the complete package- decent speed, a great gun, and ridiculous armor.

I suppose it may be because I was never good with that cannon. I found it good on T7s and T8 mediums, but not much else with the low penetration, somewhat low accuracy, and moderate alpha. The same reasons I don't like the Patton, because for whatever reason I'm really bad with the gun and it's too expensive to take chances with.
And people still penetrated the armor on it easily, from what I remember.
I'd probably hate it even more now, since I'm used to the M58 gun on the M103.

Yeah, I popped on for a bit. They told me what happened, then we joked that you and Alan were at a gay bar. What's-his-face that we platooned with Friday (can't remember his name, can't look up now because on phone) Sinner101 invited me to game, but then mysteriously disappeared by the time I got my game up and running. Played by myself. 32 games, 13 wins, 19 losses. Full of screaming imbeciles. I'll be on in a few hours if you want to game.

You'll love the Lee or hate it, depending on what MM feels like, from what I remember. I elited the damn thing...
Good gun for tier 4, not well armoured but sufficient, somewhat mobile.
Edit: decided to buy one for old times' sake, put the crew of my old E2 in it and a gunner from an M2 Medium. First game... one hit by a Hetzer.

When I'm in the top half of the team, I do pretty well. When I'm in the bottom half, it's a struggle to stay alive, let alone do damage or get kills. Not that I can't, just have to be really selective about targets and really careful about terrain.

So I don't have an official number on matches from yesterday. But suffice it to say, I had more losses than wins. Big surprise. Had some matches in my Ferdinand. TRIED to win, but just couldn't because of the fail. Ragequit for the night after getting nuked by arty at the start of the match before being able to harm anything, and apparently that last game was my only win. Typical.

On the plus side, I got Mastery and Top Gun on my JagdPanther.

That's what I want to see. Not because it's good, but because I really really want Nation vs Nation.

It'd look so cool. Seeing flanking groups of Cromwells, terrifying IS-3 charges, Sherman swarms and the like. To have the nations playing as nations rather than just as mish mashes.

It would also give Wg valuable feedback on balance much more than just "win ratio from mixed" which tells you nothing.

I don't care about historical mode really...I just want Nation vs Nation. It takes literally no effort to do, so the only reason I can imagine they don't is for it showing up any real bias...
