yeah, as you know, FiMfiction got a layout change, and so that's probably one of the resulting bugs, report it and hopefully it'll get fixed

as for the rumors, who knows, hopefully it won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be, but like CannonFodder said, it should only be 'meh' at worse, then hopefully Hasbro will learn and let things go back to the old ways

Well, I'm a little bit biased, since I actually enjoy them (or maybe I've just been lucky enough to read only the good ones), but one I absolutely must recommend is Last Man Standing. First one I ever read, and the one I still consider to be the best. And it made me cry.

@EP: (Music) Not overly sure what people were linking and talking about. But eh... got reminded of things in PH that made me go "meh" again. Looking closely at stuff with a over-thinking/conclusive mind tends to have a possibility to "ruin" the intended atmosphere. Especially if it's quite shallow and is based on that you don't question anything about it, (I know I look too much into things, but quite a few things have shattered like a house of cards. Almost always while seeming like it thinks it's solid or what have you while it got more holes than Chrysalis legs. But yeah... never really "fell" for most of the forced "FELL FOR THIS!" moments. I poked at them and they collapsed in a pile of poorly constructed scenes. Some not at raggedy, but several just don't hold up at all. But heck, I can see why many people would ignore to look into it, makes it easier to enjoy the fic as the author intended or sees it themselves. But eh, that's not nothing for me. I prefer when things make sense :P All and all, it kinda boils down to "emotional moments without context". Somber loves to toss in those along with other "norms" and stereotypes. Apparently really works for some it seem, but yeah... I prefer to have more context to my things as said. Best reference to that is those "saddest video game/movie deaths" things. Sure, they can be sad, but most the time it's just a "FEEL SAD FOR THEM! DO IT NOW!" without giving much knowledge of who they are, why they are there and why it matters. And trailing off again, will cut it here before I ramble again) and there's several of those in PH. But the music is rather good.

And erf... did one of those again. Just really ticked over recent events. Got nasally fucked by shipping, taxing and etc costs. That'll teach me to never be polite, trusting, not a complete cheapscate or order online again...

(Season 4) Hum... not sure what to think. Will still see how S3 turns out. So far been quite the horn wanking to a degree. (along with making Fausts version of Dash possibly non-canon with the scootaloo episode. Though, was neat that she got an episode. Hooves crossed for a EP one now...)

I am intrigued. I know it's a bit much to ask (no sarcasm), but could it be possible for you to point me toward an example of the scenes / moments you are referring to, with an explanation of what exactly made you go "meh", in your own words ?

It's not really important, but hey! I know some information! From my contacts within the fetish community (AKA friends and acquaintances), I have learned that the generally accepted nomenclature for something out of the ordinary that you find sexy (eg, twins) is called a kink; when it becomes something central to your sexual experience, such that you may not even be able to achieve arousal without it, it's called a fetish. Can't really say how official this terminology is, but it was related in an academic (lecture + Q&A) context, and these people do seem to know their stuff.

I don't have a picture or such. Apparently it was in a chat with one of the writers. Give it a day and it should be either confirmed or busted. Personally I give it about a 4 out of 5 chance of being right and a 1 out of 5 chance of the writer just venting cause the person I got it from normally isn't wrong. BUT the two things that I can feel safe in saying is probably true is derpy is being removed, which is why we haven't seen her that much. Also PRINCESS twilight.

If I don't hear anything within a day it's probably safe to say it's not true. Here's praying that it's JUST a rumor.

As is pointed out in the comments the complete removal of Derpy seems kind of off, considering the Comic Con figurine. I admit Alicorn Twilight is a real possibility. Even if it does happen I am still not entirely sure I believe what is stated solely based on the fact that it is just a rumor.

Even if most of the negative things are true I have confidence that the writers will do their absolute best with whatever they are handed. Garbage or not.

I think I saw a screenshot of it on Derpibooru just recently. The consensus there is that it's fake, so that's something. I still vote for calm.

Yeah, it goes really, really well with the image of the "silence" that follow the end of the world, as everything is still burning, and in the fuming ruins some tries, hopelessly so, to fight their fate as the radiations are burning them from the insides, their looks haggard as in shock they cannot process what is happening to them and to the world.

Anyway, while we were talking about nuclear war...

Today I added another mark on the list of why in case of nuclear war I wouldn't survive.

What I already knew : first, the whole city is a giant pit of R&D with world class scientific instrument (biggest synchrotron in the world, biggest source of neutron for scientific use in the world, etc...). Then, less than ten kilometres from the city centre (and, like, five kilometres from where I live) are big chemical plants - a strategic industry in wartime that could be converted to produce explosives and such. Moreover, between 20 and 50 kilometres upstream the river going in the middle of my city, are a score of big hydroelectric dams producing roughly a third to a half of France's hydroelectricity - in case of war, the whole valley would likely be submerged by a tsunami of boiling radioactive water.

This, is what I already knew.


Well, today I learned that my city is also one of the few places in the world (which can be numbered on the fingers of one hand) which has the industrial infrastructure to mass-produce complex microelectronic systems such as microprocessors and other products of vital importance for the industry of our modern world.


Basically, in case of war the whole region is going to be carpet bombed until it glows in the dark.


Oh well. Not as if it had even the littlest chance of ever happening. Still, I find it kinda fun to know I live pretty much in the centre of a giant bullseye on a nuclear targeting map.

Before someone gets upset with me I'm a EX-furry. Short version of what happened was they've utter and totally lost their minds when it comes to mlp. I'll spare a long summary, but the final straw was furaffinity, the largest furry site, had a completely clean mlp banner for three days. It was completely clean, just their mascots ponified. It took THREE DAYS for the artist to receive so many bomb threats and threats by furries that they were going to slice the artist's throat open for the site owner to have to take it down for the artist's physical safety.

After that I was like, "I'm out guys, you guys are freaking nuts for planning to kill someone for them drawing ponies"

On the subject of why some people...uh...like ponies, I saw a post on a facebook group, in which someone scientifically analyzed (or at least tried) why some people find ponies attractive. His conclusion was that ponies play on a few natural functions in the human body, so it is natural just a bit odd compared to our culture. That's me summarizing, not my thoughts.
