It's a little Toshiba laptop, payed $500 total for it (it was actually $398.99 but the extra programs added another hundred). Should be strong enough to act as my mobile workshop of horrors. Also minecraft.

Windows 7 hasn't given me any problems, the only issues were a defective graphics card and some shit I unwittingly did to my desktop several months back, but I learned from my mistakes. Windows XP and Vista are different stories. Bleh.

Artificially modifying the body's white blood cells to add a cancer-killing viral payload? Now that's pretty cool. Even if it doesn't work on humans (it seems to do just fine on mice, but, like the article says, that doesn't mean it's a sure thing), that is really cool. The possibilities are, like, endless.

Never could get used to OpenOffice - it lacked a few really minor features (word count, color scheme changing, working automatic correction for ellipses) that just put me off it; ultimately, I was also just more used to normal Office. Windows 7 has been a real gem to me thus far, though; I've very few bad things to say about it.
