Russian metal? Have contribution! Russian doom metal from frozen Soviet territory of Poland, sung in glorious motherland language Russian. Song is of mourning to good old days, before Revolutionary spirit corruption occurrence. Or something. (Apologies for awful fake bad English)

Took a little bit to think of it, but it might fit Mini's death.

That, my good sir, is a really good choice.
- Spoiler:
- Especially as the song is divided into two "parts", one relatively calm and the other much less so.
First come Mini's realization, and then come Gem's anger/despair. It ends before Gem goes to finish Deus.

Sverker has a much different sound live than in a recording.
Also earlier this morning in another instance of sleep deprivation, I tried knuckle-walking like a gorilla after reading that humans are capable of such. The data wasn't lying, it works wonderfully but it's rather stressful if you aren't used to it.

the only one I have a complaint is with Pinkie, as IIRC she never had straight hair, no matter how crazy she got, plus it was a happy kind of crazy not a depressed Pinkamena-like crazy
- Spoiler:
I actually love that diametrically opposed image of Pinks as Morale minister. It seems very appropriate for the role she plays and I could very well shadowy figures manipulating her image like that. I mean the logo (though not the best) has her poofy hair. I'm not a fan of everyone piling on the whole Party of One "bipolarism needs physical manifestations for EVERYTHING" spiel but it seems appropriate.
Overall, the whole Ministry Mare thing is one of my disappointments in FoE. Except for Twilight, Pinks and maybe Rarity, I don't see anyone fitting into the roles they have in the story and they aren't established that well besides "summoned to duty by the Princesses." I especially don't see AJ leaving behind the family farm so voluntarily after her brother's death to manage essentially an engineering corporation. I could see her working in an agriculture, business or even finance role but the MWT just doesn't make sense, but I guess KKat needed someone to fill that role and the most popular background pony needed something.

Ah, R. L. Stine. The bane of my childhood. So easily freaked out back then. It's funny really, considering how desensitized I am now.

The Goosebumps series nor the Weenies series by David Lubar really scared me, but they were spooky in a fun way.
The Weenies collections are some of the darkest fiction fit for children I've ever read in that some of the elements of the short stories contained within had a ton of fridge horror. Not scary horror, just, the kind of horror that makes you think of how awful that'd be if it happened to you or somewhere nearby where you live.

I never read any of the spooky stuff, it bored me and still does. I'm more for guns, violence, sex, that sort of thing.
Imagine if all of us (the PHCC) had Borderlands-style introductions.

I like the subtle, creepy and Eldritch stuff more than I like the violent gore-fests in most modern horror. Creepy stuff makes you actually unnerved, gory stuff is just the stuff you feel bad for finding so awesome.

I'm with Frost on this, I'm more for the thought-provoking creepy stuff that dips into the more logical supernatural stuff than the slashers. Slasher movies and intense gore make me sick to my stomach, not scared.

It needs to be a very specific kind of gore to actually disturb me. It usually involves bones.swicked wrote:Huh, me too...Mister Frost wrote:Hell, gore doesn't bother me at all, really

Anyway, didn't even read goosebumps as a kid, and I hadn't heard of Weenies before.

I'm pretty much immune to gore, though I have issues with seeing characters still alive after being horrifically and mortally wounded. Like, Carmine from Gears of War 2. That was nasty.

Surprisingly that didn't bother me a bit, but when you've repeatedly seen burn victims as a kid you aren't affected by much.

Basically, it's the only thing that'll make me go, 'eugh.' It doesn't upset me or disrupt me in any way.
