"Sounds cozy. Bet all it needs is some throw pillows and some curtains and it'd be a great place to raise the kids."

Charcoal's eyes go really wide at her comment. "Kids? I...uh...but we..." he stammers. "Wait...your were just pulling my leg again, weren't you?" he says after a moment of confusion.

[Katarn]

((Run, Charcoal, run!))

"See? You are learning."

"I guess I am, though for a second there I thought you were being serious," Charcoal says, rubbing the back of his head with his mechanical hoof.

[Tytan]

Clock smiles, but her eyes look haunted, "Yeah, don't think I'd be up for that..."

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal sees the haunted look in Clock's eyes and pulls her close, kissing her. "It's okay Clock...I'm here for you," he whispers in her ear after the kiss.

[Tytan]

Some tears well up in her eyes, but she holds them back, "Th-thanks Char. I try not to think about it, but it just sorta sneaks up on me."

[XT Vengeance]

"I know how that is...and I'm here for you. I wan't you to remember that," he says softly to her.

[Tytan]

Clock hugs him, "It's not fair. I didn't drink. I didn't do drugs. And she still..." Clock gives a manic little laugh, "That's irony isn't it? The child of a doctor, a healer, a life giver, is born dead. That's what irony is right?"

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal holds her tightly in his arms. "Hey now...don't talk like that. Nopony deserves that, least of all a mare as kind and caring as you." Charcoal looks into her eyes and kisses her, stroking her mane with his right hoof.

[Tytan]

"I don't think I deserved it either. I was making so many plans. We'd travel just like I did. I'd teach her about medicine and life and love.

...I think that's the day I figured out Celestia was gone."

[Tytan]

((Have to go make some deliveries. Be back in a bit.))

[XT Vengeance]

"Clock...I..."Charcoal starts to say something but loses his courage. After a minute of hold her he works up to what he wanted to say. "We...I mean you and me...we could make memories...good ones. Stuff to help you. I mean if that's what you want..." he says to the depressed mare.

[Tytan]

"I... I'd like that."

[Katarn]

Charcoal smiles at Clock, still rubbing her mane. "When this is all over...I'll take you there if you'd like...Victor too if he wants to come along. I just want you to be happy Clock..."

[Tytan]

"Thank you Char. I think Vik'd prefer staying closer to the ground. Heights make him nervous."

[XT Vengeance]

"It's a tower, Clock. There is a ground floor, it just isn't exactly safe compared to the Nest." Charcoal looks into Clock's eyes. "If...if you do want to stay with me...I'm sure we can figure something out...maybe start running a clinic below the Nest?" Charcoal suggests.

[Tytan]

Clock considers it for a moment, "Could work. And Vik seems happiest when he's guarding something. Must remind him of good times."

[XT Vengeance]

"I only moved one mattress up the the Nest, though. I'm sure I can find a couple more. I think it used to be an apartment building, so there should be plenty of things to make it more comfortable."

[Tytan]

"One mattress should be plenty, shouldn't it?"

[XT Vengeance]

"But what about...oh. OH! Um...yes...definitely." Charcoal turns beet red at the thought of sharing a bed with the pretty mare. "Sorry...I didn't really think of that..."

[Katarn]

((With pretty mare...and her guardian dog! :D))

((He can sleep at the foot of the bed.))

[Tytan]

Clock chuckles a little, "Yeah, 'oh'. I'll have to see what it's like first. Then we can decide what to do."

[XT Vengeance]

"Well, the room I've been using is a few floors from the top. It's really sturdy for a two-hundred year old building. It has a window looking out over the harbor. That's why I chose it. I use a couple other rooms for things like the kitchen and a workshop. I even have a functioning bathroom thanks to the reservoir I put in a couple years back." Charcoal smiles the whole time while he is telling her this. "I'm sure it could use a bit more decoration though."

[Tytan]

"Pft, men. That's why they call it 'A mares touch'. Other than sounding a little spartan, it sounds nice."

[XT Vengeance]

"Well, when you spend most of your time sniping, you tend to not worry about stuff like that," he says sarcastically. "All in all it is pretty clean except for a picture of my parents in the corner. Scorch's area is a mess though."

[Tytan]

Clock isn't really sure what to say about that, "That... should probably stay."
