Aye, if you can get past the prologue and Chapter 1 it should be quite readable. When I first started writing I wasn't sure what I wanted to do besides writing so they seem a bit trashy.

Although I keep getting told that I'm very good for a novice.

Cherry couldn't get a clear aim with Crimson flying ahead of her. Of course, this being from Crimson's POV he doesn't realise this, he just thinks OHSHI- GET OVER THERE QUICK.
So not only does he block her chance at a clear shot, but also the fact there's children she could hit if her shot goes stray or if they happen to be at the wrong angle - especially as she carries a 50.

She does help after the initial two, but she's a lot slower than he is and so she loses her chance to shoot early on, only getting it when she catches up.

And
that more or less confirms them coming from a stable, yet not. As said,
if they were from a stable, they would have clothes, if they came from
the society or something, they'd very likely still have clothes. Coming
from a stable would excuse their retardness of strolling around without
any weapon, armour or direction. But still raise the question of why a
mare walked out with a bunch of children. Sure, the stable could have
imploded, but still. If they came from a "sheltered" place like the
society, they are still retarded for strolling out, or where they lived
were retards as they didn't inform them that the wasteland actually had
danger in it. As said, even if they came from it, they need to somehow
be completely oblivious to even Radroaches to think it is a good idea to
go out naked with a bunch of children.

Essentially the same as a vault upbringing in terms of safety, but no clothes as standard. No doubt they had something, and I'm pretty sure that I gave the one who was raped a top covering robe, but nothing that would get in the way of what happened beforehand.

Can say it's quite
skilled to break a leg like that, but seems like something that'd happen
in a FoE story. And there is no such thing as a "fresh" ghoul. I can
see them being able to take on a foal with no problem as the average
ghoul has 3-4 in Str. And a foal would be what, 1-2? Point still being,
the reason ghouls are weaker is due to the radiation weakening their
muscle tissue when their bodies soaked up that much radiation,
dissolving muscle tissue and sinew. If anything, a fresh ghoul would be
even weaker due to the recent transition. Can't honestly see how their
face would get ripped off, but okay. And now you're just kinda trailing
off here, you do know there's a quite delicate balance to mount
something right? So you have a ghoul that while wildly ravaging a foal,
uses pin-point precision to keep themselves and the foal still like a
statute, while gracefully guiding the rotten, too large banana peel
inside the opening of a soda can? It never occurred to you that you
know, she'd be 1/3 or 2/3's his size? Or the fact as said, she'd have to
be INCREDIBLY well angled and positioned for it to even work position
and anatomy wise. Currently you kind of have a ~7 year old on her
stomach while a grown man effortlessly and gracefully penetrates her in a
single solid motion while pinning her down and biting her in the ear...
I just see this as more and more illogical and frankly somewhat
moronic. Even if her ass would be up in the air, unless he had her in a
perfect vice, she could still plop her rear down on the ground, since I
am confident even a child's lower body has more muscle than a physically
weakened cock. Her laying perfectly still waiting for him to find the
entrance and managing to push it in seems as likely as BJ concluding she
should stand still on this acid that is fizzling and melting her legs
off.

When I wrote it, I wanted something shocking but I didn't want to spend too much time thinking about it.
It's not the point of how it happens, but that it was supposed to happen at all and damage Crimson's mind to witness something so disturbing.

You aren't supposed to look into this with great detail like you would Horizons because there wasn't some intricate thought process on how it would happen, how it would work, what would need to be done and so on.
I wrote it to give Crimson a flaw and to put some darkness/shock into the story.

I appreciate that you like to go into detail about everything, but now you're not even giving me a chance and if you continue I'm going to get pissed because it'll only reduce my confidence even further.
Please, save it.
I know I'm a crap author and I know I didn't think too much about the act - I was thinking about what it would do outside the act itself, not of every fine little detail about it.

This is exactly why I didn't have Crimson get raped. I would fuck it up like I've fucked this up.

Well in my defence, Kim is the only person who I know who would go into such fucking detail over something like this.

Anyone else I know would question the ability of a ghoul being able to rape in general but accept the in-story explanation of it can happen but it' seems as rare as a solar eclipse that it actually does.

Anyone else would take it with a pinch of salt and accept it's something to drive Crimson to misery and induce PTSD, giving him a mixture of fear and hatred for ghouls upon one of his first encounters with them being filled with something so horrific happening.
Seeing how primal and dangerous they can be.
Seeing how they don't think logically, only acting on primal urge.

Anyone else would simply let the small details like that pass.

EDIT: Reading through chapter 6 of Starlight, I have found that Radiant Star's unique minigun is actually an unholy magical kinetic weapon. No gas propellant or anything, and it can't be opened up for repairs thanks to it being fully sealed to protect non-alicorns from starmetal poisoning. And apparently the unholy core that makes up its ammo regenerates.

The dominant thought in my mind is that it's actually a rotary railgun.
