I do kinda feel bad though. As much as I try to do things my own way, I did kinda end up copying what I've seen from others. My basement is full of tech with machines, wires, and generators everywhere. Meanwhile my house has a giant tower that I put all the magical stuff at the top of.

In the middle of doing research I realized I had copied Melek's current set up.

That leads back to my place, I think. I was tearing up the area for basalt, and got tired of flying there, so I just said 'fuck it' and used a portal gun.


I kinda have a tendency to forget where I put stuff and leave other things laying around.

Right next to a volcano, somewhere roughly northwest of Iron's. I plan on moving though, soon as Moody and I can get on at the same time.

You're moving away from a volcano to join me in the jungle? Man I can only imagine what I would do I if I was to find a volcano. Probably go insane and make a house inside the lava.

Actually, volcanos don't have all that much lava. Its one source block at the top, then a single column falling all the way down to a smallish source pool at the bottom.

Well that's a bit disappointing. Though I guess one could always use pumps to drain the lava oceans in the Nether to better fill a Volcano.

You could set off a nuke inside a volcano to replicate Mt. St. Helens, but Adder might murder you in real life for using a nuke on the server. I don't know.

I've watched too much Rooster Teeth playing Minecraft.

Funny and random fact, I was born a decade after Mt. St. Helens erupted.

And I don't plan on doing any kind of intentional explosive work on the server unless I get permission or there's a place set aside just for it.

That said I will accept responsibility if I do cause an explosion on accident for neglecting an unstable power source or got careless around TNT.

I don't think Adder dislikes explosives per se, he just might not like nukes since they induce a lot of lag. If he was worried about us accidentally blowing stuff up he wouldn't let us use any of the machines or power sources. Just pick some place really far away to mess around with stuff if you do.

I always figured the use of explosives are limited outside of a PVP server anyways. I mean, it's my own damn fault if my place is turned into a crater, but going out of my way to set up somebody else place to explode is forbidden short of accidental creepers.

Anyway I'm off the next two days so server will be running off my main PC with all it's ram and hotness. I will get a second long-term server box up hopefully by this time next month.

For those wondering my old server has a dead motherboard and dead power supply but the drives and case are of course fine. Ram is kinda fubar as well, so I'm saving up for another 16-32 gigs an another motherboard. Going to canablize my current PC to upgrade both at the same time which means I need about 900$ free.

On the plus side at the end of the day I'll have a AMD 6970 free to a good home. Well maybe mostly free, I might trade something plus COD.
