@ Meleagridis: You have my sympathy, my condolences, and my congratulations for what happened in that mission. And on Ironman as well. Hats off to you for being so awesome.

As far as the drop pods and green webbing, nothing that I know of. They're just kinda there in missions with civies around them already wrapped up. If you come across Sectoids on Abduction missions it looks like they're wrapping up some civies as well with their wrist mounted plasma pistols. Thin Men usually have weird syringe looking devices they throw to the ground when discovered.

That make so much sense! But who in the cast could possibly be other species? I really want to say Levi is Pegasus as well as Mikasa. I really don't see unicorns fitting in anywhere. Maybe they're all extinct?

Had another one of my weird dreams last night. Was at the movie theater waiting for the new Evil Dead movie, which for some reason had changed genera so that we was watching a daytime TV game show before the actual horror started and to top that off the change happened in the last movie, but right before the movie started there was naturally trailers. And I got hyped because, in my dream now, they was making a X-Files and X-Com crossover movie.

Well, there's Factory Dash, of course. As for Fluttershy and Applejack, this story uses version from stories called Pattycakes (who uses chemically induced forced mental age regression to "help" her friends, as far as I can make out from not having read the story) and Bad Apples (which I also haven't read and is apparently just vigilantism; the author of the fic I linked commented that it's difficult to find an evil Applejack story).

That seems to be common sentiment, from what I've seen. A little more so among artists, but that's what I've seen.
