So I just thought that I'd install the latest Restoration Patch. I made a fresh install of Fo2, all of that... and the camera is getting stuck at the start of the Temple of Trials. It works fine, except that it will not go any farther up than its start position. Those of you who've played Fo2 may recognize that this is something of a problem if one actually wants to play the game. Any ideas?

Not a big problem if you don't have any; I restored my old install (game and RP) from backup, and it still works fine. I wasn't even tremendously enthusiastic about playing Fo2 again, but I was trying to decide what to do next and thought that it might be fun.

I've still had no luck with Fallout 3, of course.

Anyone else here seen Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex? Damn that anime was awesome...none of the usual anime tropes, an awesome post-cyberpunk story, and the best soundtrack ever...

I've been meaning to get round to this, but whats the chronological order? I can see Stand alone Complex, innocence, Arise, and a movie. Or is it doing a FMA Brotherhood/Hellsing Ultimate thing here?

And i'll have to disagree, the best soundtrack goes to Elfen Lied.

Nope, the original two movies (Ghost in the Shell and Innocence), Stand Alone Complex, and now Arise are all...Stand Alone   To be serious, they're all in separate continuities, the characters may be roughly the same, but they're pretty much alternate universes to each other

The more I listen to Black Metal, the more it sounds like Evil Power Metal.

Going back to my idea of bringing heavy metal to FoE Equestria, I can currently see black metal involving lyrics mostly about Discord and Nightmare Moon, which the ministries probably wouldn't like. Part of me says that it might be more likely for it to crop up sometime after the bombs, when such restrictions are no longer in place, but another part of me wonders if such taboo bands could limbo underneath the ministries' radar.

There IS black metal infused with power metal (or vice versa) - for instance, Satan's Host. Most of the "trve" stuff (IMO anything that doesn't sound like Demon Burger) is pretty far removed from that sound but even so. Lots of simple tremolo picking with blast beats and screaming pretty much covers the essentials. :P You tried Kvelertak yet? They're basically black 'n roll, for lack of a better word. Good stuff. Look at Mjød - probably their best-known song.

I got the "Evil Power Metal" impression from Emperor's album IX Equilibrium. To me, it sounds like a mirror image of Power Metal, with its high-pitched guitars and fast playing, but instead of an "uplifting" and operatic sound its more haunting and brutal. In the words of a Headbanger from Brutal Legend, it's fucking awesome.

Anyway, I'm just recently looking into Black Metal. I don't know who the "classics" would be besides Emperor.

Wacom Intuos is pretty good. But they do have an issue installing onto Windows 7, but that's Microsoft's fault.
I actually gone one of mine free with a drawing class I took, so if you're lucky you can kill 2 bird with one tablet.
