Definitely Australia. For one they have just as good of health care (or so I've heard) as Canada, and MUCH better climate.

I'm not sure who actually made the cover, but I think it's too freaking funny. The band seems to know that the concept of Southern Metal sounds ridiculous, and they just roll with it. The last track on that album is called "Cutting the Grass", and it's just 48 seconds of a banjo playing.

It's almost midnight. Results so far:
- many dead and wounded;
- literal firewall between police and protesters;
- at very least one burned down police APC and one water canon;
- in western regions people took over administrative buildings, burned down 1 local police department, in one major west city police just left (with their helmets/masks off) their building w/o any resistance;
- only now president showed any signs of life by ordering protesters to lay down their weapons and return to negotiations. Next my rant about this thing:

No, no, I'm pretty certain it's justified. Seriously, some of the guys in your government sound like they're not quite qualified to lead. Of course, I say this and I'm not sure how my own politicians would react in a similar situation.

This guys got like 12.2% on election in our capital's administration and since president is from same party, they decided we don't need mayor elections and they can appoint anyone they want.

Updates so far.
- One of leaders got shot on stage (we have stage in centre of protesters), he's alive, no one knows who shot.
- In western part of Ukraine keeps getting interesting. Whole inner army (sort of national guard) unit disarmed itself, when people tried to take over/block them from going to Kiev. Head of police of one of region resigned from his position.
- Police actually set one of buildings next to protesters on fire.

Well, army stays away from this. As Minister of Defence said "Army is for protecting country from external threats, army will not use any force on protesters".
Though to be honest I'm sceptical about that.

Oh..right. That 'inner army' thingy - it's sort of police force. Actually conscripted 18-25 y.o., but instead of actual army they went there.

Took some looking but there is a news channel on my satellite package talking about what's going on over there Katarn. Apparently the VP called Yanukovich and urged him to pull back govt forces. He's not the only world leader to do so.

And it jumps to random bits of news across the US. Of course it does.

He thought that today police would ram and run protesters into the ground. They failed. Protesters expecting attacks for whole night.
There are rumours, that armed people going from western part of Ukraine to Kiev to add protesters.
