It's same everywhere. Here though, if you are wealthy or famous enough you can escape punishment or (yes, it may sound bizarre) make victim - the guilty party.

I think you may want to read it again. I said "on the bright side" as in at least he won't starve. I'm not saying there weren't better options but at least the guy doesn't have to worry about where his next meal is coming from.

All I'm saying is that, apart from the fact this is fucking injustice, this is also a goddamn waste of resources at a time where everyone is supposed to do more and more with less and less. But as always the actual efforts only ever go one way...

This goes both ways. I've run into incredibly sour nurses especially whenever I have to go to the ER.

I never had a bad experience with a doctor though.

Doctors literally left my paternal grandmother to die in the final phase of her generalized cancer, without even giving her water (she was dehydrated), more oxygen (lung cancer) or painkillers (her dosage was insufficient); and she spent her last few days in agony while it could have been relatively easily prevented.

But she was poor and one among many, and the doctors and nurses had other, probably better things to occupy their time with. Like chat about what was on the television last night...

When he came back and told me the story, he was a sobbing wreck.


Let's just say that he has since renewed several time his statement that if it would happen for him to end in a situation of dependency or a similar state of illness, he would put a bullet between his ears or any similarly definitive answer.

If that's what I think it is (and I sure as hell ain't checking), then that's the comic that a friend showed me a long time ago. It spooked the crap out of me and gave me nightmares, and it legitimately freaked Frost out a little after I showed him. (Him being bothered by something is extremely rare).
