Hey, does one of the editors of PH go by Niphl on reddit?

He made this post on the FO:E subreddit, but appears to have been shadowbanned.  I didn't get a notification of his reply, his profile 404s for me, and the shadowban checker says his account isn't there.

Just thought I'd let you know!

Anyway, that post says chapter 64 is coming soon.  Can't wait!

Just found this. It's a bit loud, so lower your volume if you've got it high.

BTW, there's been more than a few pieces of PH fan music. A youtube search for "Project Horizons" turns up a bunch of stuff. Maybe it'd be a good idea to try to find all of them and put the links together in a thread?

The how long will PH be one or whatever? I don't see anything there that looks like you making an ass of yourself. I admittedly don't use Reddit that much though so maybe it's somewhat hidden.

I didn't see anything that I would call "made an ass of myself" worthy, unless you're talking about how you expressed how you want to write other things not dealing with PH but can't since it's not finished yet, or letting the guy you got into a discussion over if you've been intentionally extending PH instead of ending it while telling the story you want to tell last words get to you more than it should.

Dude, many of the rules for 4chan also apply to Reddit, namely that they produce some good content and a lot of bullshit.

I looked over it, no one seems to be attacking him if that's what you guys mean by BS.

I wonder if Somber is just doubting what he wrote like he does with the chapters.

I'm pretty sure it should be "different" rather than "differently".
I say it should be "differently". "Different" is being used do describe how the halls smelled. Therefore, it is an adverb and should be "differently".
No, FeatherDust is correct here. In this case, "smelled" is a linking verb, and linking verbs are followed not by adverbs but adjectives.
You can test this by replacing "smelled" with a different past-tense verb and seeing if it still makes sense.  It's most useful to use an irregular (that is, not -ed) verb, and the best one for this test is usually your standard state-of-being verb ('is' and its variants).

Does it work if you say, "the halls of Stable 99 were differently than I remembered"?  Obviously not.  The halls were different than before.  And the adjective doesn't change to an adverb just because you swap to a new verb, so they smelled different but not differently.

You can use a similar trick for figuring out when to use "and I" versus "and me" -- if you remove the "[somebody] and" part, the sentence should still make sense:

You would say I went to the party, so if John joins me, John and I went to the party.

By contrast, He spoke to John and I sounds like you're being very proper, but it's not correct -- He spoke to me, so when you add another person, He spoke to John and me.

I did mention that when I posted the link the first time, and while yes he didn't read it, he obviously did a little research on BJ and Rampage.

Not sure if it's been brought up here and I haven't read the newest chapter (Still reading 62B.) so I'm not sure if it's mentioned in 63 but I did hear of the three month time skip.
I wonder if Homage, Calamity, Ditzy and Velvet have an interest in finding BJ.

Granted the elements don't appear to be related to descendants in any way, she's still a possible lead for the element of magic.

Better than wandering aimlessly right?

Though I could be missing something. I'm not sure if the elements are supposed to have a reaction in the presence of new bearers.  I don't remember if they did. I guess they must have, but I also can't remember if BJ was ever in the same room with them for her to be ruled out.

That actually sort of raises the question of why nobody's asked Littlepip (The Sky-Goddess Who Sees Everything), though I assume it's due to communication issues between Pip and the outside world and/or between Manehattan and Hoofington.

I seem to remember mention of the SSP tower(s) near Hoofington have either been destroyed, damaged, or signals are being blocked by the freaky weather. I could be wrong though.

Or perhaps whatever is interfering with broadcast transmissions is to blame. Hoofington has always had problems with rain and lightning storms, even before the war.”

Well, 64 shan't be out this weekend, I'm afraid, as Somber isn't feeling well and we convinced him to get some rest.  We're still doing some work on it, though, and, despite Somber's protestations of unsalvageable horribleness, I think that it's good.
