Well, it started off as a tiny little fracture, possibly just a stress fracture. Then I had that AGR, the NIC, and a six-mile ruck-march all on the same day, which......worsened the issue. It certainly didn't help that my limp/hobble wasn't fast enough to keep up with the pace on the ruck, so I was sprinting half the time

Alright, I think I can tell you guys how I really broke my foot. 

About a week ago, two days or so before I broke it, I had a dream wherein Drill Sergeant Thomas--4th Platoon's slightly crazed Drill Sergeant whose personal motto seems to be "do it again, Private."--straight-up ninja'd his way into my house, crawling up the walls and popping smoke on his way in. He told me that I sucked at life and to "do it again". Then he stabbed me in the gut with a sword. Three days later, I break my foot and am getting recycled. 

Clearly, I had a psychic premonition that Drill Sergeant Thomas would use his own psychic mind powers to break my foot and get me sent to another company because he sensed my psychic powers (like premonitions) so our psychic powers wouldn't cause feedback with each other.

We'll confirm or deny my psychic powers within the next ten years, though. I had another dream once where my company First Sergeant turned out to be a dolphin. Not mere nonsense--the 1-50's symbol is the Dolphin of Syracuse. 

Anyone who keeps up with military news, particularly on Sand Hill, let the forum know if First Sergeant Bigham is made the 1-50's Battalion Command Sergeant Major anytime soon. If he is, I'm psychic.

At what point are you going to address the trend in decreasing difficulty in games in this moronic little argument you're hallucinating that you're having with me?
Because I never said that cost of production isn't a factor, just that it isn't the only one.
You are the one pretending I'm saying it's not a factor.

The difficulty of a video game doesn't actually have anything to do with how well a video game sells. You can appeal to the largest group imaginable, but that doesn't automatically mean it's going to sell well.  There's tons other things that go into how well something sells.

Sonic for example.  The reason why the games suck, especially sonic '06, is that sega constantly tells the game developers throws stuff into the games to try to appeal to a greater audience and the games are still garbage and still aren't nearly as popular as other franchises like mario.

As much as I dislike call of duty it's without a doubt not even close to being the worst games out there.  The reason why they're king of the hill is that when you put it together their games are still playable, they're not as terrible as games like "Horror FPS" or "Jay's mod", the cost of production is low thus allowing them to have large profits from each game, they're on multiple consoles and pc thus allowing more people to play, etc.  If they increased the difficulties of their video games then they'd still be king of the hill cause they have enough things financially going for them that having a low difficulty is pretty much a non-factor.



Realistically speaking if they increased the difficulty of their games you would just have a bunch of people sending angry messages to activision and then going back to their games; cause that's pretty much what gamers do every time there's a increase in difficulty in video game franchises complain to the developer that it's too hard for them then immediately go back to playing the game.

On the bright side, though, I'm likely getting recycled from the Delta Diamondbacks (or the "Delta Don't Care's" as the rest of Sand Hill knows them) to Wolfpack Alpha, which is famous throughout Benning for not being a half-assed bunch of gagglefucks like Delta is considered to be. 

Seriously, there's maybe four Drill Sergeants in this company who give a fuck, and even they are undersupplied and stretched thin

"Hey, we're going to the range today, does that mean we bring our Assault Packs and the same packing list as always, or should I go bug the PG about what to bring?" "Hey, I know we were just told this at formation, but I was busy bullshitting with my buddy--what time is lights out? Are we on personal time, even though it's two in the goddamned afternoon?"
