Also talking about ponies and the new season coming up, I REALLY FUCKING HOPE there's a massive ragequit in the fandom when it happens cause I'm really getting tired of people's shit.  I don't mean anyone here even closely resembles the shitstorm that's starting to stir at the lowest bowels of the fandom.  You know how there's overly militant bronies who get pissed at you when you say "season three wasn't the best"?  Yeeeaahhhh, about that.  I'll spare you a long explanation, but the overly crazy members of the fandom are tired of endlessy defending season 3 and the movie have switched tactics.

If you haven't the foggiest what I'm talking about then I'll put it into words.  The current shitstorm brewing put summarized is people going, "How dare you say season 3 & Equestria Girls isn't the greatest achievement of mankind!  You're not a true brony!  Flagged for offending me!  Quit the fandom cause you're scum!  I'm going to find you and slit your throat!  Love and tolerate!  It's a good thing that feminist scum Lauren Faust left, she belongs in the kitchen.  I'm going to type up this angry letter to the creators of the show telling them what I deserve for them to write into the show cause otherwise they're going to pander to scum like you".

I really hope there's a massive ragequit when season 4 happens, cause this new drama and this new movement is by people creating sock puppet accounts to get people banned, but the new thing they're doing is trying to call the cops on people who disagree with them.  I'm actually looking forward to the inevitable season 4 opener drama, cause if it doesn't happen we're going to have to deal with evolved drama.

Actually that's kind of a good thing for other fandoms.  People like this all congregate into one fandom, then when the fandom gets large enough they get tired of their shit and as a side effect the fandom gains popularity.  A lot of stereotypes about fandoms originated from somewhere.

The same people doing this shit, that were old enough for the last phenom, were the exact same people doing this shit to the last phenom.  The reason why there's always the stereotype of all fandoms being manchildren who threaten people over stuff in the franchise and such is that they're all the same group of people.  The reason why few people realize this is that by the time the new phenomenon they'll have ragequit what they were in last time after everyone else telling them to knock it the fuck off and them not wanting to behave like normal people.

The people doing this shit were the same people doing this shit in the anime fandom, they're the same people who were doing this shit for video games, they're the same people who were doing this shit for the science fiction fandom.  It's just that whenever the fandom they're all converging on as some oasis where their idiocy is accepted.

Haven't you ever noticed how griefers tend to also be weaboos who think japan is completely filled with otakus and always talk about how they plan on moving to japan, and go to sci fi cons just to harass the actors while talking about how they're "ub3r l33t hax0rz"?  They're all the same group of people.  The people who go around yelling sexist remarks on video game mics are the same people who at night hug their anime body pillows while making journals online complaining about how they've been, "friendzoned" saying that they gave the girl they liked enough money and saying that women should have sex with them for being "such a nice guy" for giving her stuff.  They're ALL the same group of people.

It's just after a while the fandom gains enough members to outnumber them and these manchildren get pissed off that normal nice people outnumber them and that their ideas are no longer popular so they ragequit.  One of the major things that all fandoms have in common is that they evolve.  We started off in 4chan and a nice collective.  Say what you will about 4chan, the beginnings of the fandom everyone was nice to each other.  I was one of the first few in the fandom and everyone was pretty polite to each other.  Then everything changed when they manchildren nation attacked.  The biggest change that is probably going to happen to the fandom in season 4 is sometime soon their armsrace of idiocy is going to reach critical mass and everyone's going to get tired of their shit and they're going to ragequit.

Same thing happened with video games and anime.  Everyone was pretty nice when video games were underground and the same with anime.  Then it started getting popular and idiots started being huge jackasses to older fans.  Anyone that was into anime circa 2001-2004 knows what I'm talking about.  Anime may have a ton of shitty people, but it no longer has as many terrible people as back then.

I don't think we'll ever really get rid of these idiots who think it's okay to threaten to slit someone's throat over a cartoon, but the same thing that caused half of the assholes in video games and anime to quit is happening now.

If you think there's a lot of weaboos now, if you think there's a lot of griefers and trolls now you should have seen how many there used to be.  There's not even a comparison to as many as there were.  2004 to 2006 LITERALLY EVERYONE online was screaming racial slurs at each other on video games while killing their team mates and teabagging them.


I have high hopes for season 4 for the fandom, cause their arms race of idiocy is like a pimple.  It's about to burst and then we're all going to have a much nicer time.  We just have to hold out for a drama storm large enough to make them reach critical mass and then they'll ragequit.  That's why I want fluttershy to become a alicorn so that they'll reach critical mass and self destruct.

Tl:dr; Any drama this season is going to be good drama, cause the people we're all thinking of are going to reach critical mass and self destruct.  All we really need is one more big drama storm and they're all going to self destruct.  Which is why I want the season 4 opener to cause drama.  If it does cause drama then they go bye bye.

I didn't join the MLP fandom to be in the fandom. I joined it because the fandom brought it to my attention one too many times and I thought I'd give it a chance before trolling the /b/ threads about liking MLP.

Yes people really do this.  Why do you think there was such a massive spike in popularity inbetween seasons 2 and 3?  Why do you think there's been so much drama lately?  I want one more good drama storm cause we've almost got the perfect conditions needed for them to mass ragequit.  I may be apathetic to princess twilight, and EQG, and all the other drama that happened, but it's given us the perfect conditions for a nuclear meltdown of drama.  One more drama storm and these people will have nuclear meltdowns and then ragequit.

The reason why I know all this is that I'm a member of a shit ton of fandoms cause I like a lot of shows and that.  The same people we're talking about are also members of a ton of fandoms cause they join fandoms just to join fandoms.

The people who have been harassing and threatening other people have been doing this for years.  It's just that when they get banned from websites, conventions and fandoms they move onto the next fandom and never change.

It's why there's stereotypes of 40 year old manchildren that live in their mom's basement.  They've been doing this ever since they could go to conventions unsupervised.  They never learned to behave like a adult, they never learned to treat others with respect, they've been doing this shit since they were kids.

If you go to meetups of a fandom take note of the asshole that treats women and others like shit, then go to a completely unrelated fandom's meetup in the same town. . chances are they're going to be there too. If not that one then they're probably at a different one.  Just show up to all the meetups in your city for all the fandoms and go, "hey I'm not really in the fandom.  I'm just here to check it out".  The jackass from the last meetup is probably going to be there.

The reason why you can't escape jackasses who treat others like dog shit is cause they go to every convention or meetup cause that's their only means of social interaction.  They can't make any friends otherwise in the world outside of fandoms cause normal people don't put up with it.  You can't escape them no matter what fandom you go to cause they're so desperate for social interaction when normal society rejects them that they cling to any fandom or such to have even the littlest form of social interaction.

Don't believe me?  Take note of the jackasses who treat others in real life like dog shit and then go to several other fandom's meetups, chances are they're going to be there as well.

That's why the term manchild exists, cause they are so far removed from society that they are incapable of integrating into society.

It's why I don't want to go to any convention or any meetup again, cause the last town I lived in I liked going to the meetups, but that one guy would always show up to every meetup every time always no matter what.

What I'm getting at is no matter what the fandom is always going to have this problem, cause all fandoms have this problem cause that one guy that goes to everything.

A prime example is that one guy that I used to know one day wanted to show me his room cause he saw how many meetups I went to and thought I was like him and I was being nice since he was in the same dorm.  I'll just list off the things that I noticed before turning the fuck around.  He had a anime body pillow, a life size cardboard picture of zero suit samus with a suspicious hole, a loli poster, a mlp plushie(you can probably guess), a half finished inappropriate homestuck costume, a inappropriate fursuit, a hermonie poster from the first harry potter movie, a bedspread from several fandoms, a guy fawkes mask, and many many other unspeakables.  Oh side note:  The "girlfriend" he always talked about was the name of the anime character on the body pillow.  Ps: He was 47.

That was in the two seconds it took me to realize I was looking at.  Every wall was covered and stacked with this stuff.

They have not listened to one single lesson from the show.  They do not care about the show at all.  All they care about is having similar likes.  To them that is friendship.  Why do you think they hate Lauren Faust and the creators of the show so much?  Why do you think there's so many angry messages calling lauren a, "dirty feminist scum"?  Cause to them it's not "friendship is magic", it's "friendship is having no one ever have a different opinion or like or dislike".

They can not function outside of fandoms cause they are physically incapable of being able to socially interact with people that are different.  It's also why they are forever alone.  They need anime body pillows cause they do not even know such basic emotions as love either.  Love and friendship is about a emotional bond in spite of one's differences.  They have not once paid attention to anything and everything about the show.  They can recite all the lines of every episode completely and name off every character that was in every second in every frame, but they do not understand it.

That is why I want the season 4 opener to cause drama, cause they're still pissed off that people disagree with them that if there's more drama they're going to ragequit like no tomorrow.  The reason why there's been so much drama this last off season is that to them friendship is about people kissing their ass, and now there's no one kissing their ass anymore.  If I had to come up with a name for all these drama storms it would have to be that, "The off season people stopped kissing ass".

I want drama to happen with the season 4 opener cause chances are they're either going to ragequit or migrate to websites where no one ever disagrees with them.  Imagine if the ones that are left rather than going around threatening artists or insulting the creators of the show migrating to their own little websites far away from everyone where they can keep their snide remarks to themselves?  Chances are if there's anymore drama they're either going to ragequit or make a website titled, "AnyoneThatDoesntThinkTwilightSparkleIsTheGreatestAchievementOfMankindIsntARealBrony.com"

It's called the herd mentality, or by it's slang terminology a "hugbox".  Individuals outside the herd are viewed as enemies or a threat and alienated from the "herd".  The reason for this drama the last nine months is that they think it's a threat to the integrity of the herd.  It's like a group of animals from a herd viewing a individual as a threat even though their fear of danger is irrational and will go so far as to if they can't run off a individual from the herd they will run away in their irrational fear for fear of the herd being in their mind compromised.
