I am paying attention, my point is that the house gop removed the house's ability to reopen the government and solely gave the ability to reopen the government to boehner.  My question is how is it not the republican party's fault when the decision to reopen the government solely and completely rests with Boehner?  He is choosing to let the government head towards a default.  How is this not Boehner's fault when he is the one that votes on it.

Politician's may be shitty, but boehner is the ultimate shitty politician cause he is choosing to refuse to allow a vote to reopen the government.

They're all shitheads, sure, but the sonsabitches who fucked you are decidedly the ones holding the country hostage to their own insanity. We either get rid of them, or we rip up the system at the roots. And everyone's too lazy for the latter, historically speaking, so. /shrug I only had issue with the phrase "equally to blame" because it's... just not true. That's all. I really don't understand your logic.  Yeah politicians suck, but if one guy chooses to not allow a vote to stop a default then how is it not his fault?  There's enough votes there to avoid a default, but one guy is preventing the government from defaulting.

To use a metaphor imagine someone that just fell down onto train tracks and accidentally broke his spine and can't crawl to get out of the way of a train.  If a person is stopping a emt from saving the person by pinning them against the floor then how is that any different from if they had killed the injured person personally?  That's like going, "Well it's both the emt's and the person pinning him's fault".  A person is responsible for their actions.  The problem with what you're saying is that it's the golden mean logical fallacy in that "well everyone's at fault equally", when in reality people are responsible for what actions they undertake.

Like if someone goes out and murders a person it's not their parents fault, it's not video game's fault, it's not their pastor's fault, or such; rather they're responsible for what they do.  My point is that you're using a logical fallacy that states that everyone is at fault for everything whether or not they're responsible.

The reason why I blame boehner and the republican party in the house is that they are intentionally by their own free will under non-forced means disallowing the usa from avoiding economic collapse.  That is why my train metaphor works, cause without raising the debt ceiling the economy will get hit by the train, but boehner is pinning the people trying to save the economy from getting hit by a train.

The problem is that what don't just owe money to one person or one country, we owe money to people with bonds, the loans from other countries we have taken, and countless businesses and banks.  To say that it's everyone's fault to have the worldwide economy get hit by a train when a small collective of individuals are intentionally pinning the person trying to save the economy is so illogical that even discord would tell you you've gone too far.

That is why it is illogical to say everyone is at fault equally, cause not everyone is trying to stop the people from preventing the economy from getting hit by a train.  In order for your logic to make sense then every last politician on every level would have to be actively trying to prevent the debt ceiling from being raised.  In order for your logic to make sense there would have to be 0 politicians total trying to pass a budget or raise the debt ceiling, and the fact that members of both parties(granted only a few republicans are actually trying to stop the default) are trying to prevent it completely voids your logic entirely.

Cause if so that means I have a 43 out of 45 chance of winding up in a version of equestria where I wind up having biological kids later on.

Knowing me if that happened and I learned how I got there I would turn out like the twins from bioshock infinite and start messing around with space-time.

It would be a really weird conversation to have with my parallel self cause knowing me regardless of what sort of personality they would have they would be extremely calm about it and would go,
