For the flaws you perceive in PH. I don't agree with all of them (perhaps most of them, actually; sorry), but, while I realize that there are limits to what I can do, the ones that I do agree with make me feel as if I've failed here as an editor. Particularly since the issue is sexism.

As a result of me thinking of "Master Chef" whenever I think of "Master Chief", and vice versa, it is now my headcanon that Spartans are trained in gourmet cooking along with their other skills. They keep morale up not just by being heroes to rally behind, but by cooking delicious meals for whatever base they're garrisoned at.

And things went quite okay. She licked me a lot, but I had to haul her back in bed a few times as she tried to scamper off, scratching at the door to be let out.

@O.Hinds: Oh, I see. Well, each and their own. Most spawn from Somber though tbh. Wouldn't mind discussing which things you disagree with me on though. As there's a chance I might have just explained it incorrectly. Secondly, do know that most of the flaws are sort of a deeper problem, rooted in or societal norms and whatnot. Most just fly past most people.

Sometimes you go to the concert of one of your favorite bands. And suddenly there's ANOTHER favorite band as the lead-in!
This happened 2 times to me. Once was some time ago when I went to see a Rammstein event and suddenly there were also Deathstars, and also... TODAY! Iron Maiden were in the Olympic stadium today, and, suddenly, the lead-in was Sabaton.
I don't know how people were able to process that much awesome in one event.

Val, I think it's safe to say you're a lucky bastard. Listening to Sabaton is like having 85cc's of pure testosterone shot straight into your balls with a four-gauge needle. Only less horrifically painful.

Yeah, I don't usually care about musicians on a personal level either. Or any performer for that matter so I tend not to want to meet them myself. 

Though I do think it might be interesting to talk to a couple of comedians.

Live music > Recorded music. Always. No need to be a fan to justify going to hear it in person. (Though it's not worth going anywhere that will give you hearing damage.) I once went to a re-screening of The Matrix where most of the music had been edited out, to make way for a live concert orchestra. No-one can explain to you how much more badass the movie was. Hell, the movie was background to the music sometimes. (Also, lots of people were in Matrix costume, because awesome.)

Edit: Apparently The Matrix Live is on world tour! Maybe other films will get the same awesome music treatment someday soon.

I've never been to a proper rock concert, but I have often heard good things and would definitely not mind the experience. Happily for me, concerts in my favored genres tend to cost less! Unhappily, they are sometimes populated by insane people.

Well, I'm glad to know that it's more broadly in society than just in us, but I still feel bad for not taking care of more of it.

By the way, as much as I appreciate the fact that we don't all hate on each other like so many other forums I've been on, I think we should be capable of having serious discussions on things our opinions strongly conflict about without people acting like we're trying to start a flame war.

 To be fair, we have had several such discussions, some rather recent, like abortion and Christianity. Of course, I'm not sure those can be counted considering that there wasn't really a severe conflict of opinion.....
