14th of July : French national holiday. Known as "Bastille Day" in the US.

Tomorrow morning there's going to be the Military Parade down the Champs-Elysée in Paris, which will be broadcast live on the TV and which I will probably watch if I remember to get up ; and in the afternoon there's going to be one in my city, most likely featuring the local unit of mountain artillery (93éme RAM - 93rd Mountain Artillery Regiment).

But honestly, though, if they ever introduce modern tanks in WoT (which I doubt they ever will, but heh, one can dream), I'd be all up into that Leclerc, oh yeah.

Little bit of both. It has two types of reactive armour, the Abrams has none without TUSK, Leopard 2s get spaced armour instead, and it has an active defence system. That would be overpowered, because it claims high effectiveness. Which means it'd be super effective.

And the Leclerc relies on active countermeasures for its protection, AFAIK.

Regardless, in real life, no tank is invulnerable. A big enough gun, a big enough bomb, any tank will be disabled or destroyed. Same with basically everything. What anti-tank technology culminates to is smaller ways to destroy one.
