((Alright, that's what I would've gone with but I thought we already had a scene of feeding Pinks with a bottle, but we'll just go with straight nursing then. Also, I'd say Pinks is onto solid foods by now.))

((Well I just doubt that they could find formula in the Wasteland, or that anyone has started making it again.))

((I dunno, I mean, Pinks is probably old enough to start eating solid-or at least smashed-foods by now. ))

Can I get a summary of what's happened since Whisper and Terra broke up? Poor Tytan, I think I left him/his characters in the HoR learning to take apart toaster.))

Buckler smiled at the compliment. "Thanks, Red. That makes me feel a little better." He looked at the book again. I suppose I could take this. It might be helpful." He looked up at Red. "That is, if it's alright with you. I mean, you did find this book first..."

Red pushed the book towards Buck with a shake of her head. "I grabbed it for you two, it's all yours." the mare stood from her spot and trotted back towards the magazine racks picking a few things off of it she liked and judging by the face she made one thing she really didn't.

"Alright Buck, I'm ready to go. You ready?" she said as she trotted to the counter a bag of caps already hanging from her lips.

He picked up the gardening book, the baby book, and a couple gun magazines and placed them on his back. "Yeah, I think I'm ready to go."

Red shuffled the mags around on the floor before placing them on the counter, she watched the pony behind the counter count the old mags happy that he didn't seem bothered to check out what they were.

Red placed what she owed on the counter and slid the stack into her bag, then she walked to the door and waited for her friend to finish up.

Buckler walked up to the counter, sliding the collection of books off his back in front of the bookkeeper. After making sure everything was in order, Buckler paid him his caps and tucked the books in his saddlebags, following Red towards the door.

"So, now what? Anyplace you wanted to go?"

She pulled the door opened and walked out. "I was going to buy you a drink if you're not too excited to get those books back to your wife." She said with a sly smirk.

Buckler looked around and shrugged. "Eh...sure, why not? Shayle said she was busy with something anyways. I should probably give her some time."

Red walked Buck to the bar the two of them would always visit when he was in town. Once inside she led him off to a quiet table nestled in the corner of the building.

She sat quietly the only noise from her was the soft tapping of her hoof on the table's surface. She stayed that way until a mare approached them asking what they wanted. "I want whiskey..." she smiled as she sighed. "but I can't have it, so water." the mare turned to buck and waited for his response.

((Ya know I doubt the waiters would serve Red whiskey even if she asked right now.))

"Hard cider for me, please." He turned to Red as the mare walked off. "So, I think that the next checkup is coming soon, right?"

[Guest]

"Mhmm," She said with a nod. "Not sure who's going to be checking me out though. Hope it's not Sak's mom." She let out a quiet chuckle. "I'm not usually embarrassed but having your mother in law see your teats... Well it's just one of those things."

Red continued tapping her hoof against the table until their drinks were brought to them. She took a sip of her water. "So how are mood and Alex doing?"

Buckler chuckled at Red's remark. "They've been fine. Alex has been talking to him a little more, it seems." He gets a distant look. "Which is nice. She's been a little closed up ever since...you know..."

Red tilted her head in a confused expression. "Know what?"

((Okay, now I'm caught up. See there was some time skips so I can put my character's wherever but it'll help me feel better if we could get Tytan in so me and him could properly wrap up the scene me and him was doing.))

"You know...when Goldy...'disappeared'..." He looked away. "Alex took it pretty hard for a while."

"Oh." Red let out an irritated huff and suddenly found her water very glare worthy.

He kept looking away for a few more seconds, then looked back over at Red. "...Is something wrong?"

"Nothing." She replied almost instantly, her tail gave a frustrated flick of the chair behind her.

He started a few seconds more, then shrugged and took a swig of his cider. "If you say so. Anyways, she's been doing better lately. I'm still not certain what goes on with all that sciencey stuff at Tenpony, but it seems to be working out fine for her."

Red took a deep breath to clear her mind and hopefully get it back on track. "That's good, and you're not giving Mood too much trouble?" Red asked in a half serious half joking tone.
