Whisper closes his eyes and grunts"Go figure, out of everythin' a damn bear is the thing that almost kills me."He sighs

"Yea. Maybe you're getting too old for this?"

"Ain't that old yet."He sighs"Just unlucky."

"I dunno, but now I think you may be. Just how many scars do you have?"

"I don't know, at least ten."He shrugs, wincing a little as he does so.

Iffin chuckles. "Yeah, you should probably stop before you lose an eye or something."

"Yeah, that'd be tragic if that happened."He says jokingly

Iffin nods. "It would be."

((There doesn't seem like there's much more to do... Everyone okay with a timeskip? First to tonight because I have a scene, then when Whisper gets out of the hospital?))

After putting Pinks to sleep, Kura climbed into bed with her wife. After a while, she sighs and turns toward Red. "You aren't the only one it got to..."

"What do you mean?"

[Aonee]

"Whisper left Terra..." Kura sighs, sounding like soemone who has put a lot of thought into twhyat they are about to sway and needs to prepare for it. "Back during Japony, after what I did to you with Goldy, I felt like I was balancing on a knife edge, and I was afraid of even taking an uneven breath because I felt like I would lose you, never be able to get you back and be left alone... Even after our wedding, I still felt like that..." Kura looks away. "Its diminished now, but I can still feel it in the back of my mind, it still worries me..."

Red rolled over to face her wife not sure what to say, she thought about lying but decided telling the truth was the best course. "You were, I told you I wouldn't share Saks. But I'm not going to leave you now for something that happened five years ago."

"I know I was... But I still can't even think of losing you... I don't know what I'd do..."

[Guest]

"I'm not going anywhere. Well... unless you got an eye for someone else." She said sadly.

[Aonee]

Kura quickly shakes her head. "I don't."

[Guest]

The mare rested her head on Sakura's chest. "Then you got nothing to worry about. I promise baby."

[Aonee]

Kura relaxes and lets out a breath, wrapping her arms around her mare and resting her own chin on her wife's. "Thank you."

[Guest]

Red buried her muzzle in her wife's mane. "You're welcome. Try to get some sleep alright?"

[Aonee]

"Mhmm." Kura starts rubbing her wife's back as they both drift asleep.
((Alright, I'm ready for the second timeskip.))

((Alright, Well I'm good with it. I don't know how far we're in though. Two weeks after the breakup?))

A week later Whisper gets out of the bed and follows the doctor.

"Now, remember most of your injuries are healed, but your ribs are still going to take some time to heal. If I had to guess, I'd say about another month. So take it easy."

Whisper rolls his eyes"I'm fine doc, I don't think that's necessary"

The mare stares at him flatly, then pushes his left side.

"Fuck."He groans in pain and almost collapses

"Next time you talk back, it'll be worse."

"Right, take it easy. Got it."He says as he recovers

"Good."she smiles"You've got some painkillers with you in case you need them."

"I will doc, thanks again."

"Eh, just don't let me catch you back here for a couple months and we'll call it even."

Whisper nods, and gets the rest of his gear from the front desk.
