Iffin follows Whisper outside. "Ready to go home?"

"Not quite yet, wanted ta say goodbye ta Nora and the others, and go visit mom and dad."He says somewhat quietly"But ya should probably head home, I'm sure yer kids miss ya."

[Aonee]

"Alright, tell them I said goodbye then."

[Guest]

"Okay, will do."He nods, then makes a portal for Iffin."See ya, later sweetie."

[Aonee]

Iffin nods. "See ya." And steps through the portal, coming out the other side a little ways off from New Hope around mid- to late morning, and flying into town.

Crys walks up to Runner's house, and knocks at the door.
Runner answers. "Oh, hi Crys."
"Hey Runner. Can you get Terra for me?"
"Sure." Runner goes inside and finds Tera. "Hey, Tera, Crystalane is at the door."

[Scyto Harmony]

Terra smiles and nods, "Looks after the kids for a moment, would you?" She then makes her way to the door, "How are you, Crys?"

[Aonee]

Crys smiles. "I'm good. You wanna go for a walk?"

[Scyto Harmony]

"I'm sure Runner can look after the kids." She nods, reaching behind the door a grabbing a shawl, which she wraps around her neck, "After you."

[Aonee]

Crys nods and starts walking around town. "So... I have an idea on how to help you when Whisper gets back."

[Scyto Harmony]

"Wha-? You do!?" She beams, "How?"

[Aonee]

"Well... The first thing is to try to lay off of him a little... If you keep acting the way you do, I think you might just wind up smothering him... The second thing, is do try and take it in small steps. Try to keep him from moving out at the least, even if you two sleep in separate rooms. If not for you, for Sera."

[Scyto Harmony]

"I... guess I could do that..."

[Aonee]

Crys puts a hoof on Tera's shoulder. "Hey, anytime you need it or it feels like it's too much, you can talk to me."

After closing the portal Whisper walks over to the barracks and goes inside"Hey y'all, just figured I'd stop by ta say I'm doin' better and that was about ta head out."

O nods at him"Goodbye, doctor. It was nice seeing you again."She says quietly.

Dante waves"Yeah, take care of yourself, doc."

[Guest]

"Seeya Doc, just wish we could have found her." Flash trotted off to her bunk tripping over something. "Fucking Dammit! Dante!"

Bang dropped a piece of paper at Whisper's hooves before walking over to her sister and helping her to her hooves.

Dante looks over at Flash"What? I picked up my gear this time."

Whisper looks at the paper.

[Guest]

The words "Goodbye Doctor, thank you for the help." were printed on the paper in neat little letters.

"Well then what did I trip on?" She said kicking whatever it was she was currently laying on out from under her.

[Guest]

Whisper smiles at Bang, then writes underneath her note"Don't mention it, ma'am. That's what friends are for."He gives the note back to the mare.

Dante looks at the thing bang kick"Oh, how'd that get over there..."He says, very confused.

[Guest]

Flash with help from her sister gets up and somewhat agrily climbs into her bunk.

Bang jumps a little from Whisper's sudden reappearance. she unfolded the letter and quickly scanned the letter her lips curling into a small smile. She gave whisper a friendly wave before returning to her sister.

Whisper smiles at Bang and heads to the door.

Nora walks out of her office"Hey, Whisper."

"Yeah?"

She walks over and gives him his pistol"You dropped this after you got hurt. Figured you'd want it back."

He smiles at the griffoness"Thanks, Nora. I was looking for that."He takes the pistol and holsters it."Just wish we found her."

Nora sighs"Yeah, would've been nice, but I've got a good feeling she's alive out there, somewhere."

"I'm sure she is."

"Hey, Whisper, don't forget you still owe me a couple drinks."She smiles, hoping to end on a happier topic.

"I know I do, when's yer next contract up?"

"Couple months, why?"

"Well, how's 'bout we get those drinks once it's up? It'll be nice ta get some drinks up here again."

Nora nods"Yeah, sounds like fun. She then, doc."

"See ya, Nora. It was nice seein' ya again."He gives her a friendly hug

She returns the hug, careful to avoid his ribs and smiles"Yeah, same here. See ya around Whisper."

He nods, opens a portal and steps through. Once through, he appears in his office and he grunts as his weight shifts and causes a sharp wave of pain to run up his side. He takes out the med-x in his bags, and injects it, sighing in relief as the medication starts to work.

Azure walks into Whisper's office to grab something when she notices him injecting himself with the pain medication."D-daddy? What happened to you?"She asks, concerned.

Whisper turns and looks at his daughter, slightly startled"Oh? I, uh, got hurt when I went ta help find Kifa."

She rolls her eyes"I can tell you're hurt, but how did you get hurt and what's wrong?"

"Right, well I uh, got hit by Yao Gaui. Slammed right into a tree. What did the doc say I got, oh right. Eight broken ribs, one punctured lung, a mild concussion and a bruised kidney."He rubs the back of his head"Those bears don't really mess around."

"I..What?"

"Don't worry, everythin' except the ribs are all healed up. Doc said it should be a month or two before they heal up. Anyways, where's Sera? I want ta go see her."

Azure shakes her head"No daddy, you need to rest. You're in no condition to be walking around if you're in enough pain that you need to use Med-x. Sera, will be fine with mama for a couple more days while you rest, okay?"

"But I-"

"No, rest daddy. Please? You shouldn't over exert yourself."She says firmly

Whisper sighs in defeat."All right, I'll rest, sweetie."He goes and lays down on the cot in his office"Ya work the night shift tonight?"

"Yeah. I do."She walks over to her father.

"Okay, then at least I'll have company."He nuzzles her"Good night, sweetie."He closes his eyes slowly drifts off to sleep.

She returns the nuzzle"Night, daddy."

((So I say we have Tera and Whisper meet up, then we're probably good for another timeskip.))
Iffin walks up to her house, opens the door, and steps inside. "Honey, I'm home."
Runner gets up as hugs his wife. "I missed you babe."
Iffin hugs her husband back. "I missed you too hun."
The twins run up to the couple. "Mom! Mom!"
Iffin sweeps her kids up into a big hug. "Hey kids. Did you miss me?"
The kids hug their mother back. "Uh huh."

((How does six months sound? After the whole whisper Terra thing is taken care of. Of course I mean six months into Red's pregnancy, So four months from now.))
