Flea feels her insides twist a little as Viktor told his story and was starting to feel sorry she asked.

The filly made her way out from under parent and approached Viktor. She was still intimidated by his large size, but that didn't stop her from leaning her head low and nuzzling the closest mechanical paw.

[Tytan]

For a second time in as many minutes Viktor is stunned. For a little he just let her nuzzle his hard, metal paw. But then he got down on the ground and returned the nuzzle with the soft side of his head. A single anemic tear rolled down his cheek.

Flea feels her stomach unknot at the nuzzle takes a step back."Feel better Viktor?" she asked sincerely.

[Tytan]

Viktor stands back up and nods.

Shadow, not knowing how to react to the dog's story says the first that thing comes to mind"Ah'm, uh, sorry ta hear that, Vik."Not knowing how to continue he looks at Flea"Flea, sweetheart, can ya come here fer a second?"

Cherry looks at Vik"Ah'm so sorry. Ah can't imagine what that must of felt like."She says sympathetically

[Tytan]

The unfamiliar look of sadness with a hint of grief passes across Viktors face, "Is... not good feel. Not know what... forget, not real, not should know. Words get... up downed?"

Flea looked over to shadow and gave a quick nod as she felt her guts starting to twist again. She trotted up to him, upon reaching him she moved to take shelter under the stallion.

Cherry looks at Vik"Ah wish ah ya, Vik. Maybe Clock can help?"

Shadow's tendril stops Flea from going under him and gently nudges her in front him."It's all right, sweetpea. Just wanna talk ta ya."He says nicely as he kneels so he's eye level with the filly.

[Tytan]

Viktor looks at Clock, still perched on his shoulder and still having her hooves draped over her head but now drooling slightly onto his dull gray arm, "Clock try. She think old doctor pony try make Viktor... mad with brain chip. Maybe mess up. She no know what."

[Guest]

"Why would the old doc wanna make ya mad?"

[Guest]

"About what?" She chirped.

[Guest]

"Well, it's 'bout ya nuzzlin' folks. Ah know yer mama does it ta ya all the time ta make ya feel better, but ya can't walk up ta anyone and do that. It ain't safe."

[Guest]

"Ooh." She looks down. "But if I don't do it my tummy pinches."

[Guest]

"Sweetie, just sometimes ya gotta be uncomfortable ta stay safe..."He stops and thinks."How's 'bout this. Whenever ya get a pinchy feelin' in yer tummy ya just ask yer mama and Ah if it's okay first."

[Tytan]

"Kill stripey ponies."

[Guest]

"Oh. Ah didn't know they used dogs in the war..."

[Guest]

"Okay..." She pouted and hung her head a bit more.

[Tytan]

"Not lots. Some go with stripey ponies, some normal pony. Lots not fight."

[Guest]

Shadow puts his hoof on Flea's shoulder"Now, now sweetie, don't pout. It's fer yer safety."

"Oh, ah take it the chip didn't work?"

[Tytan]

He shrugged, "Dunno. Think Clock know more."

[Guest]

The filly nodded at shadow and repeated her okay from earlier, however this time she didn't sound as upset about the decision.

Shadow smiles when he hears the change in Flea's tone and gives her a hug"That's my girl."

[Tytan]

Clock murmured. Slowly she slid off Viktor's shoulder so she landed beside him, belly up in a mildly undignified position. She opened one eye and rubbed sleep out of the other with her hoof. She looked around with her one available eye, "Good morning."

Flea returned the hug, wrapping her front legs around Shadow's neck as much as the little limbs would allow.

"Mornin' Clock."Cherry smiles.

Shadow smiles at the filly, then sits down. Letting Flea, sit in between his forelegs.

[Tytan]

Clock stretches, causing her joints to audibly pop. She looked around while still lying on the ground, "I hate it when Vik wakes up before me. He always carries me around like a rag doll. Not that I mind, it's just kinda undignified is all."

[Guest]

Flea giggled at clock from where she was seated, a buzzing sound joined her laughter as her tiny wings buzzed behind her. "You're funny Clock."

[Tytan]

Clock smiles warmly, "Well thank you sweetheart. Laughter is the best medicine, especially when you run out of the real stuff."

[XT Vengeance]

"Squawk!" Scorch cawed loudly before taking off into the sky in search for food.

Charcoal sat quietly at the table, slouched against it, clearly lost in thought now that his friend had flown off for the moment.

"Where's he off to?" Searchlight asked Charcoal as he watched Scorch fly off.
