Quiver landed back with the others.
"I counted fifteen mines around the perimeter."
He stretches his wings and yawns.
"There may also be useful things inside, and attached to the tripwires."

"I...sorry. I still don't know why you put up with me."

"Well, we'll just have ta see then."She yawns"Ya see anythin' else in yer fly by?"

"I was focused on the mines, so no, but you can check again if you want."
Quiver says with a nod to the white pegasus before entering the 'doctor's' house, looking around for anything useful and making sure his EFS is clear.

"Because you're pleasant as long as you aren't blaming yourself for everything," she sighed.

Quiver finds 3 locked chests, 2 locked medkits, and a locked door leading into the basement. (basement lock - hard +20 to roll). No life shows up on the EFS.

"Sorry Quiver. Looks like your work isn't quite done yet. I'd help if I knew how to pick a lock... Maybe he's got keys around here."

[Ketchup]

"I think I can do it."
He says to Clock without much confidence before attempting to pick each lock.
[Rolls=6 pass,13 pass, 98 break, 5 pass, 50 pass, 25+20=45 pass]
[Luck rolls=9+1, 4+1, 4+1, 7+1=10,5,5,8]
Breaking one of the chest locks and not opening the basement door after unlocking it.
"Five out of six... not bad?"
He says with a shrug.

"A lot better than I would have managed. We could let Viktor chew on that last one for a while."

"Sorry. I uh...I guess I should go find the others, shouldn't I?"

Searchlight looks at the basement door. "So, anyone else is expecting to find a body buried down there?" He asked jokingly to no one in particular.

[Ketchup]

"I have a bad feeling that this vampony wasn't getting blood from himself... but there's no EFS signature."
Quiver says worriedly, looking at the door.

[Tytan]

"Yes." Clock deadpanned.

[Guest]

"Just 'cause there ain't signature don't mean there ain't any bodies down there."He says as he looks at the basement door

"I hope not..." The filly said quietly.

Mira nodded and grinned.


Quiver finds:
- 10 Blood Bags
- 5 chunks of strange meat
- 3 severed heads
- 1 Single Shotgun
- 2 regular potions
- 1 large potion
- 2 bandages

"You all search what's up here... I'll look downstairs."

Cherry hugs the filly close"Don't worry sweetie, just stay up here with me. Okay?"

Searchlight grabbed the handle to the basement door and swung it open. "I'll go too, who knows what's down there." He told Clock.

Shadow looks at Clock"ya sure ya don't want any help?"

[Perception 6 (6+1)]Charcoal trotted outside and looked around for any signs of where the others might have gone.

[Ketchup]

Quiver grimaces at the contents of the chests.
"There's a shotgun... nothing else but blood, heads... and meat."
He says, clearly disgusted.
"Medical supplies are usable, though."
He says before walking over to the basement door with the others.

[Tytan]

"I'm sure... this one's on me," Clock readied her old ripper and opened the door to the basement. She walked downstairs and had a look at what she could see. (Per 4+5-1(darkness))"

Little blossom nodded. "Okay momma." She said with a slight shiver.

Charcoal a small path cut through a pile of garbage heading west.

Clock can see two large shapes looming in the dark, completely still. When the door swung open, Quiver's EFS lit up with 2 faint lines.

Quiver turns on his PipBuck light.
"EFS senses them now..."

Clock turns on the motor of the ripper, "Hello?"

When the light turned on it hit two furless Hellhounds with bloodshot eyes that screamed and jumped over the group to run up the stairs and out of the building.

Searchlight unholsters his revolver, but jumped back as the two hellhounds ran out of the building. Searchlight looked at the others. "Okay, I didn't see that coming."

[Guest]

Shadow quickly gets into a defensive position around his wife and daughter and places a shield around them. Once the hellhounds he stares out the door"What the hell?"

[Tytan]

"SHIT!" Clock dodged out of the way of the Hellhounds and ran upstairs when they were gone.

Viktor looked stunned by the sight, "What was?"
