Quiver gets up, and frowns.
"I was being sincere, I've told you before that I like spending time with you."
He stretches and puts his armour on before sighing.
"I'll... try to avoid doing that in the future."

Novae rolls her eyes. "Why so serious? I was joking."

[Ketchup]

"...You confuse me sometimes. I can almost never tell what you want."
He shrugs.
"Maybe that'll change."

Novae packed bedroll in her backpack. "You mean that you will be bale to tell what's on my mind or that I will stop been random at times?" She put her armor and duster back on. "Cuz even I, sometimes, surprise myself with what I'm doing."

Quiver chuckles slightly.
"Maybe I should have said that I may get more used to your sense of humour."
He walks up to her, and looks her in the eye for a few seconds before opening his mouth and quickly placing a mock bite on her neck.
"I'm a vampony. Rawr."

[Katarn]

"Oh curse you, cruel fate, I'm undone!" Novae fake-fainted.

[Ketchup]

Quiver stared at her for a few seconds with an impassive expression before chuckling.
"We'd better get going, check on things."
He says as he opened the door, trying not to make too much noise. He gestures for Novae to lead the way.

Novae gets up and makes her way out of the room. "Who do you want to check on first?"

[Ketchup]

"We could fly the perimeter."
He says with a shrug before stepping outside.

[Katarn]

"We? As in you will fly with me on your back? Heh now i wonder who enjoys this more you or me." Novae said with a grin.

[Ketchup]

"Yeah. Am I not allowed to enjoy it?"
He says with a smile.

[Katarn]

Novae chuckles and rolls her eyes. "Of course you can and must enjoy this, it just recently you were saying that you were flying too much and felt tired."

"It's not too much of a challenge, and Arbu is small. Besides, I'm getting more used to being ridden and flying all the time."

[Katarn]

"You you so enjoy me riding you, then let's do this."

Quiver knelt down and looked over at Viktor and Clock.
"I wonder what the story is between those two."

[Tytan]

Clock rolled over in her sleep and nuzzled Viktor's leg.

Viktor gently brushed a stray hair out of her face with one of his fingers.

[Katarn]

Novae climbed on Quiver's back. "Haven't Clock told you...I thought she told this to everyone already. Viktor rescued her from raiders or something like that."

[Ketchup]

[STR 7-1]Quiver takes off.
"I didn't hear, might not have been paying attention, or I wasn't there. It seems like Viktor takes up a sort of paternal role over her."
Quiver flies around the small settlement, looking around for any signs of trouble or unfriendly EFS signatures.

Cherry slowly wakes up and raises her head a little. Then, takes a glance around the room, looking at Shadow, still fast asleep then at her daughter.

Flea scooted closer to her mother to fill in the space between them that her mother's early morning shifting caused. The filly's eyes opened for a moment or two before closing again with a quiet yawn.

Cherry gently nuzzles the filly, then lays her head down closer to Flea and Shadow and closes her eyes.

Charcoal woke suddenly with a jerking motion, banging his head on the table he had been sleeping under. "Ow."

Scorch snickered as he sat perched on the table.

Charcoal crawled out from under the table and sat down.

"It's not funny," he told his feathered friend grumpily.

[Tytan]

Viktor looked up from Clock at Charcoal, "Morning."

"Oh, hey Viktor. I'd have figured Clock wouldn't want you talking to me."

[Tytan]

"Viktor friend. No slave. No have listen."

"I din't mean it like that...just...just forget I said anything," Charcoal said quietly.

[Tytan]

"Clock no say not talk you. Just say no like. Upset."

"Yeah, well I don't blame her for being upset."

[Tytan]

"Viktor not understand. Why Clock mad? Drink too?"

[Katarn]

Novae clenched her hooves over Quiver's neck, not hard enough to strangle him, but enough to hold. "You mean like me and Jayne?"
