"I'm fine," he says, shaking his head, "I'll just sleep in the Luggage."

Quiver walks up to Novae.
"Do you want to share a room in Sundance's house? She said there weren't any beds, but it's better than being out here. If you think Jayne would be okay with that..."

"Well, we shared not only room together." Novae winked. "And as for Jayne..."

Jayne was little away, looking back from where they came from.

"...he wasn't against, when we shared room earlier." Novae smiled a little.

Clock laid quietly next to her companion for quite some time before she worked up the nerve to speak, "Viktor?"

*Grunt*

"Was I doing the right thing?"

*Grunt?*

"With the Vampony."

*Grunt... Grunt*

"What do you mean you don't know?"

*Grunt*

"Right... Sorry. Could you try though?"

*Sigh... Grunt*

"You were fine with helping me? I was starting to scare myself. It sounded like something a raider would do."

"He was. He would have let them all die. And we helped the girl."

"AND we rescued those hellhounds..."

"What will they do anyways?"

*Grunt*

"Figures... We'll just have to wait to make sure they aren't after the Vampony."

*Grunt*

"Thanks Vik... Vik, would it be okay if I slept on you?"

Clock crawled on top of the dog and made herself comfortable. When her head was settled she could here the soft wheezing of artificial lungs, "Thanks Vik. Goodnight."

Charcoal moves back over to the group. "So what's going on? Everyone trying to find rooms or something?"

Scorch sat perched on Charcoal's back, his head tilted to one side.

[Orm]

"The mare we helped offered us whatever rooms they had available for tonight. Guess helping out with that vampony had some benefit." He told Charcoal.

[XT Vengeance]

"Vampony? Please tell me you're joking," Charcoal scoffed.

[Orm]

"Well it was a pony who apparently drank blood, got one of the fillies in this town hooked on blood, lived in the middle of nowhere, and he kept two shaved hellhounds in his basement. So yeah, I kind of wish I was joking too."

[XT Vengeance]

"Sounds more like some strange form of cannibalism if you ask me. Still, that's fucked up."

"What did you do with him," Charcoal asked after a minute or two of silence."

[Orm]

"We left him here, and I assume they killed him." He tol Charcoal. "Don't ask me how though, it was probably while we were searching his house."

[XT Vengeance]

"As long as he is dead, I don't really care how it was done, Search."

Charcoal was quiet for a minute or two as he worked up the courage to ask Searchlight a question.

"Searchlight? Can I ask you a question?" Charcoal asked quietly.

[Orm]

"Go ahead, I'm listening."

[XT Vengeance]

"Do you think I belong?"

[Orm]

Searchlight was confused by the question. "What do you mean?"

[XT Vengeance]

"Do you think I belong? Should I be here? Am I even wanted?" Charcoal asked the ghoul quietly.

[Orm]

"Is this because of what Mincemeat said? Because I'm pretty sure no one even listens to him when he talks. You're a good pony Charcoal, and despite what everyone else says, you've kept this group from dying more times than I can remember."

[XT Vengeance]

"I'm pretty sure Mincemeat is afraid of me. He should be. I'm not a good pony Search. I'm pretty sure it hasn't been me keeping you all alive."

"Besides, my decision got two of the group killed," Charcoal said under his breath.

"What I wanted to know is if you want me around. Do you want me to stay with the group, or should I work alone again?"

[Orm]

Searchlight doesn't hear what Charcoal says under his breath.

"You're my friend, Charcoal. And you can say that you're not a good pony until the sun rises, but that won't change my opinion."
Searchlight sighs before continuing. "As for wanting you around? I like having you around, you don't seem as judgemental as the others. I say as long as your family is safe and Mirabelle's okay with it, then you being around is good for everybody."

[XT Vengeance]

"I don't know about it being good for everyone, but I guess I'll be sticking around for now."

[Ketchup]

"Well that's... good. We should get some rest."
Quiver said to Novae before gesturing for her to follow and walking back over to Sundance.
"Can you show us which rooms can we stay in?"

[Guest]

"Well, whenever yer ready ta sleep Mince, the room is over there."She points at house the stallion is at."Just ask the stallion and he'll tell ya where ta go."She smiles and walks back to the house. She walks upstairs and notices Shadow and Flea laying down and goes in.

"Hey, hun."He smiles at her.

"Hey."She nuzzles him, then her daughter"Think we might get some rest tonight?"She lays down next to him and Blossom.

"Maybe. We'll just see how it goes."His tendrils pull out the mantacore blanket and cover Him and his family."Goodnight, love."

"Goodnight."She kisses him, then looks at Flea"Goodnight, sweetheart."She kisses her daughter on the cheek then lays her down.

[Guest]

Flea shed her disguise.

"Night Mommy, night Shadow."

[XT Vengeance]

"I don't know about you, but I think I'll stay out here tonight," Charcoal said to the ghoul.

[Guest]

"Night, sweetie."He nuzzles Flea and lays down his head.

"Night, sweetheart."she wraps her wing around the filly and pulls her close.

[Orm]

"Same here." He said to Charcoal. "Never liked sleeping in other houses."

[XT Vengeance]

"I don't like it. I'd rather not be indoors in a town I don't trust."

[CamoBadger]

"Well that's... good. We should get some rest."
Quiver said to Novae before gesturing for her to follow and walking back over to Sundance.
"Can you show us which rooms can we stay in?"

The mare led them to the rooms.

"Thank you."
Quiver said to the mare with a nod and led Novae into one of the rooms, shutting the door behind them.
"I've come to realize that one of the most valuable things in the Wasteland is sleep."
He says with a yawn to Novae.
