Nidal climbed the stairs.
"We'll probably have to take out the warden. There's a good chance he knows how to fight better than those weaklings too."

[AbstergoTempest]

"Chances are he can withstand a arrow or two as well."

[Octavia]

"And chances are the collection of confiscated items from prisoners are located in his office! There is nothing more I would like in the world than to get my amulet and spell book back."

Khaj'darrak starts to climb the stairs with the rest.

Arngeirr starts to follow silently.

The mysterious man climbs up behind the group as well, keeping to himself.

Righel had been wandering through the streets, careful to keep his heavily scarred hands and arms covered. In reality, the scars were magical symbols etched into his body. He had his coat and gloves specially made to let the sleeves and gloves be removed quickly, in case he had to use his magic in a pinch. On the outside, it looked like a normal leather coat with matching gloves, but it was sewn with a magic needle that made it fire proof, necessary for his type of close range fire magic.

He began to walk towards the prison, intending to find some work. In his experience, prisons usually offered work that tailored to his skill set. They didn't pay as much as the illegal contracts, but the work was usually steadier. He smiled at the thought of his last job. He had been paid by a local crime lord of another town to capture a Noble, then took the contract from the Nobility to save the Noble and capture the crime lord. <I>There's another town where both sides of the law hate me</I>, he thought.

As he neared the prison, he heard the sound of fighting, seemingly from inside. He immediately jumped and hid in the bushes on the side of the path, not wanting to get involved before getting more information. He decided to hide and wait, that way he could find out what was going on, but not be linked to any of it.

[Linguz]

Nidal kicked the door to the barracks and ran in. Two guards were positioned around a door.
"That'd be the warden's room, just past those two."

[Octavia]

The two guards at the wardens door were wearing matching sets of heavy plate and chain mail as opposed to the light leather of the other guards. They both wield a Steel long sword and shield with the crest of the Jarl, a Pegasus rearing on it hind legs. They clearly are of higher caliber as compared to the guards fought in the dungeon.

The two guards immediately draw their swords as Nidal burst through the door. They put up their shields and start to spread apart and circle the intruders.

Arvena took a step through the door, then seemed to think better of it and took a step back.
"Uh, these men might be a bit beyond me in my silenced condition."

Outside, a group of 6 guards start running around from the back of the barracks, where the dungeon wall had been replaced, towards the front door. By now, the whole town had been alerted by the ringing of a bell in the keep up the hill on the edge of town. Guards from all over started to stream towards the keep where they were rerouted towards the barracks.

[Linguz]

Nidal created a spark with her gauntlets and set them on fire.
"I hope you guys can handle flames."
She punched in the direction of the left guard, sending the fire flying towards his eyes.

[AbstergoTempest]

The Guards had armor stronger then the ones downstairs. Theradus's Arrow could not penetrate the thick alloy

"If you have any idea on how to kill these guys, just let me know"

He then realized a vantage point within the heavy metal

*these thing are heavy enough to keep them down if knocked off their feet. So how do stop a turtle from moving? Flip him on his back..."

[Octavia]

The guard who took the flame got hit in the face by the flame a second before he could get his shield up. He stumbled and faltered for a few moments. The other guard quickly took advantage of the opportunity and started to charge as Nidal focused on his fellow guard.

(And heres where I'm going to have to end it here for tonight folks. Tommorow we can stay up later.)

(Well, me and Abstergo are on. IDK bout you guys, but were free to continue this now. I'm just waiting for the next move.)

Nidal turned slightly and caught the blade on her steel armor, deflecting it. She swung her left hand in a backhand blow, crashing against the guard's shield.

[Octavia]

The guard who had just been punched in the shield stumbled back a few steps and looked down at his shield in shock - The Iron had been dented severely, distorting the image of the Jarl's Crest.

The second guard just recovered from the magic assault and started to advance slowly, with extreme caution.

[AbstergoTempest]

Theradus slid under the guard and swept his food under the guards leg, making him fall back and land on the stone floor. Now was the time to finish him.

"Nows your chance Nidal! Kill him before he gets back up!"

[Linguz]

Nidal punched the guard's helmet between the eye slots, releasing her flame. The fires entered his helmet and ignited his entire face. She tapped the circle on her right gauntlet as the other guard approached, creating a ball of compressed air between them in front of Nidal. She punched the ball, launching a spear of wind at the guard.

[Octavia]

The spear of wind knocked the final guard back, at which point he stumbled and fell. He started to roll and get back onto his legs when Arvena ran in and stuck her blade into the gap between the helmet's chin and the chest plate.

The blade slided through the mans flesh with little resistance. Arvena now stood with the human blood on her hands. A first in her book.

"We should keep going before reinforcements come in", she whispered shakily.

[Linguz]

Nidal nodded.
"You don't look so good. You've never killed a human before?"
She walked to the door, not waiting for an answer.
"You all ready?"

*They don't even know each other, yet they work as team already.*
Arngeirr had stood and watched the encounter with the guards without getting involved, he was more of the backstabbing kind of killer rather than one on one fighting.
*I guess i'll tag alone until we get outside, then I'll sneak away*

[Octavia]

"Wait. There are probably more guards outside coming in our direction. We should probably lock up and block the entrance."
Arvena dropped the blade and walked over to throw down the metal bar and lock the door.
"I really hope that you are right about a way out through the Warden's office. Even in this storm, there's no way were going to get more than a couple yards outside without archers spotting us."

[Linguz]

Nidal kicked the door down to the Warden's office.
"GET OUT HERE, YOU OLD FART!"

[Octavia]

The Warden stood up from his large desk. The hulk of a man looked over Nidal's shoulder at the two guards laying dead upon the floor.
"So you're the skum that have been causing the ruckus round here."
He picked up a large steel axe, one that would take two hands for a smaller man, and knocked desk out of his way.
"I was hoping that those two would have bested you with that expensive barding. It seems I'll just have to take care of you myself."

The mysterious old man stepped out from the shadows in the main room to get a better look at the events unfolding in the office. He rolled up a sleeve to reveal a odd looking tattoo on his shoulder.

[Linguz]

Nidal laughed.
"Come at me. You might be stronger, but I sure as hell am faster."

[Octavia]

The Warden charged, swinging the mighty axe in a massive side sweep that cut the walls.

[Linguz]

Nidal rolled under the sweeps of the Warden's axe and punched the Warden's lower back on the spine.

[Octavia]

The Warden stumbled forward and hit the wall. He turned around and came back again swinging the gigantic blade overhead towards the floor.

[Linguz]

Nidal rolled to the side and tapped the circle on her left gauntlet. She punched the steel axe, shifting it to get detached from the handle. She jumped back a few feet and took up her stance again.

[Octavia]

The axe blade flew off the handle and embedded itself halfway into the wall.
"Damn cat, get back here!"
The warden threw the handle at Nidal and started swinging his fists at her relentlessly.

[Linguz]

Nidal touched the circle again and punched the handle in the air, making it into multiple small wooden spears sent flying to the Warden.

[Octavia]

The majority of the wooden spears merely glanced off the Warden's chest plate, and a few implanted themselves a short way into his arm. The Warden ripped them out and continued his frenzied swinging.

The old man started to grow impatient as the battle drew on in the Warden's office. He reached up and touched the tattoo on his left shoulder and it started to faintly glow, slowly getting brighter...

While the others were battling the wardon, Arngeirr had been trying to sneak behind the wardon's back but had to duck to avoid getting stabbed by one of the mini spears.

"watch where you shoot those things!!"

He then looked up at the old man.

"What is he doing?"
