"Or...we can save water and time and take shower together." Sudden realization of what she just said came to Novae, sending her face in slightly red blush. "I-I mean, if that's okay with you."

Quiver blushes.
"Um... I'm... okay with that. Sure."

[perception 6 (2+1)]Charcoal woke with a gasp, sweat pouring down his body as he panted heavily. He rubbed his eyes then quickly looked around, hoping that his outburst had not woken Mirabelle or their daughter.

Mira wiggled and groaned quietly, but didn't appear to wake up.

Charcoal let out a quiet sigh of relief. He carefully made his way out of the room for some fresh air, his thoughts full of pain.

Novae mentally kicked herself.
My tongue is my worst enemy...
"Y-yeah. So..um...let's take our clothes off and...you know. Wash ourselves."
Really smooth, Novae... She fought urge to facehoof at her own behaviour.

Quiver nods and takes his barding off, noticing the wear on his jumpsuit. He steps into the shower and looks at Novae with an awkward smile.

Why did I even suggest it in first place?
Nova took off her duster and armor.
Why did he agree? She walked in shower right after Quiver.
"So...let's get started?"

[Ketchup]

Quiver nods before turning the water on. He unfurls his wings and begins washing them carefully.
"It's uh... kinda crowded in here, i-isn't it?"
He says nervously.

[Katarn]

"Kinda..." Novae put her head under stream of water, just to wet her mane.
"Um...need some help?"

[Ketchup]

Quiver watches her mane cascade down her back.
"Uh... I think I can handle it."
He begins to pull errant feathers from one of his wings.
What does she want?

[Katarn]

"Oh, okay." Novae tilted her head backwards, letting water flow on her forehead, through mane and on rest of her body.
"I just...find it cute, as I watch you cleaning your wings."
Novae...what the...

[Ketchup]

"Oh... it's... just preening...."
He says awkwardly.
"...what else do you think of as cute?"

"Oh, many things. Some are about you." Novae's voice slightly changed, something new was in it, yet, something familiar.
Keep calm, keep calm...
"I find it cute watching you sleep or when you fly around and some others. What about you, what you find cute?"

"Well... when you blush... your stripes... the glow you get from doing what you like... to name a few."
He says slowly, embarrassed.

[Katarn]

"The glow, huh?" Novae smirked. "Am I glowing now?"
What are you doing?! You suppose to just take a shower...with this handsome stall..oh for the love of... Novae mentally kicked herself, though it didn't helped her much.

[Ketchup]

"N-no... yes... sort of?"
He said meekly.
"Just forget I said it..."

[Katarn]

"Oh, I won't forget that." Novae moved to shower, wiggling her flanks, at least she thought she did that.
What am I doing?! She kept beating herself over this situation, strangely, but she, kinda, enjoyed it. There is only one way to end it...
Novae turned on cold water at full capacity. Stream of cold water poured on her.

[Ketchup]

Quiver recoiled slightly at the temperature difference in the spray.
"Novae? What are you doing?"

[Katarn]

"Co-o-o-o-oling d-d-down...both with m-my m-m-mind and b-b-body." Novae started shake a little from cold water, so she turned it off. "It-t-t reinf-f-force yor im-m-m-m-mune system."
Or make you sick...

[Ketchup]

"Novae... I'm afraid that's not how it works."
Quiver turns the water back on, warmer than before.
"You should warm up. Being that cold can't be pleasant."

[Katarn]

At least thoughts are gone...
"Well, duh. But it helps...thought been in warmer stream of water I like more."

[Ketchup]

"...Are you alright? You're acting a little... strange."
Quiver mentally kicked himself.
"If you don't mind me saying."
He added quickly.

[Katarn]

"Stranger, than usual?" Novae asked with little smile. "I'm fine...I guess."
Would it be better to talk with him about it...that would be awkward...or worse, he might hate me.
Silly, he won't hate you...more likely...but might be scared.
Am I crazy or is this something else?
I need to talk to doctor...but he IS a doctor...maybe 'other' doctor?

"Thanks for asking though."

[Ketchup]

"No problem."
Quiver said with a small smile before rinsing himself a few times.
"So... are we done now?"
He asks with a more awkward smile.

[Katarn]

"Well, I'm done, I think. If you aren't I can..." Novae mentally kicked herself. "...wait outside, till you finish."

[Ketchup]

"I'm done."
Quiver turns the water off and gets a towel for himself and passes another to Novae. He starts drying himself.

Novae looks at tower for a while, than starts drying herself from mane to tail and back.

[Ketchup]

Quiver finishes drying himself and puts his barding back on. He makes sure his PipBuck is still working, contrary to experience.
"I see your stripes are back."
He says with a slight smile.

[Katarn]

"Yeah...I've noticed that. I guess it's either look like pony or don't smell and be clean." She sighed and smiled a little. "You know what I want to do right now, hmm?" Novae put towel aside.
