He shook his head.

"I told you they were killing everyone," Pon3 shouted. "They were families, guards, shopkeepers! I'm just a DJ, anyone could have taken my place, but now they're all gone!" His magic shrouded a shelf of books and launched them into a wall, shredding the bindings and spraying paper everywhere. He collapsed and panted, shaking his head. "Get out."

Flea quickly searched the clinic looking for a sign of her mother, which she didn't find but her eyes did eventually find somebody.

Flea looked at Char fearfully and quickly trotted back to Shadow.

Shadow smiles at the filly, then spots Cherry's bags."Hmm."His tendrils dig into the bags, and slither back to Flea, holding her stuffed bird."Look who ah found."

"Don't mention it, Flea."He gives her a nuzzle, then tries to read again, but finds it hard to focus. He lays his head down, keeping a close eye on Flea and the auto-doc.

Charcoal pressed the button for the top floor, and waited. When the door opened, he trotted into the studio, carrying the foals.

"Uh...Mr. Pon3? Are you alright?" he asked, seeing the mess in the room.

The DJ stood up and trotted over to them. "I'll see what I can do. I know a few ponies in little towns that would be happy to adopt them."

The DJ lifted the two foals in his magic. "Thank you for bringing them to me. I'll make sure they get a good home. You and your friends should get some rest; I imagine you have a busy day ahead of you tomorrow."

"Yeah...friends..."Charcoal said under his breath. "Thank you," the stallion said before backing out of the room.

"Well...that went better than I expected," he said to Mirabelle.

The DJ turned once Charcoal and Mirabelle were gone and carried the two foals to his bed. He put them down gently and smiled as one awoke. The filly scratched playfully at her electric blue mane and yawned.
"Don't worry, you'll get a good home somewhere," he whispered to the filly and kissed her grey-coated forehead, right below her horn.

"If you say so," Mira replied, unsure.

"Miri...I...I'm sure they will be fine. We need to focus on raising Dinner Bell," Charcoal said with a soft smile. "I'm sure he will find good families for those two."
