Well, I've got Prance as a region of Equestria. Maybe the others... I'm not sure, though; they sound like pony countries.

Germaneigh and the Empire are both partly pony countries, there are other species living there. I see what you mean, though. Having the whole world being pony or even equine would be like the entire Earth being populated by just white people...or something.

I agree with you on that interpretation. There's an element of... flight let's say in that music's theme, and also resolve. Something for when the Hero is near the end of its journey, and he approach the yet to come climactic battle, full of resolve.
