"Thank you." The mare grinned, pulled out a key and set it in front of Charcoal. "Room 29, second floor. Enjoy your stay."

"We will," Charcoal said. he took the key and led Miri up to the room. He unlocked the door and held it open for her. "After you Miri," he said with a grin on his face.

[Orm]

Searchlight sighed, as he floated out two bottles of whiskey from his bag. He floated the full one to Clock. "Want to join me in a drink?" He asked the mare.

Mirabelle walked in and collapsed on the bed with a sigh. "Holy shit this is soooo comfy!" she groaned into the mattress.

[Tytan]

Clock eyed the bottle behind her hoof. She took the bottle and considered it for a moment before she started drinking.

Charcoal smiled at her and crawled onto the bed, placing Dinner Bell down between them. "I'm glad you like it Miri," he said just happy that she was still alive.

[Orm]

Searchlight took the nearly empty bottle and drank from it. He sat against the wall next to Viktor.

"I didn't know they made anything this soft," she continued, rolling around on it. "It feels so gooooooooood."
Dinner Bell started suckling the covers.

[Tytan]

Clock flopped onto Viktors lap, enjoying the hazy feeling of the alcohol on her mind.

"Are you going to be okay?" He asked the mare.

[XT Vengeance]

"Um, Miri? I think Dinner Bell is hungry," Charcoal said with a chuckle. He smiled at how cute the foal was laying there, trying to eat the blankets.

[Tytan]

"I don't know anymore... I'm just kinda glad I didn't throw myself off the roof."

Mirabelle rolled over and pulled Dinner Bell to her, but pulled the covers over herself before letting the filly start suckling. "Um... Charcoal?" she asked quietly.

[Orm]

"I know it hurts, but it'll pass. Trust me."

[XT Vengeance]

"Yeah Miri?" Chacoal asked, looking away awkwardly.

[Tytan]

"I used to think so too... now I'm not so sure."

[CamoBadger]

"How much did that cost? Fixing me?"

[XT Vengeance]

"It doesn't matter Miri. It was worth it," Charcoal said softly, looking into her indigo eyes, a smile on his muzzle.

[CamoBadger]

"It does matter," she said quietly. "How much did it cost?"

[Orm]

"Just give it some time."

[XT Vengeance]

"Thirty-five hundred caps," Charcoal said softly.

[Tytan]

"...He proposed. Just before we left for the slave camp. He proposed and promised to get me a ring when we got back."

[CamoBadger]

Mira froze and just stared at Charcoal for a few seconds. "Char... why would you spend so much?" she asked. "That's... why!?"

[XT Vengeance]

"I...because... I love you Mirabelle. I...I always have," Charcoal said softly," lowering his head, expecting to be rejected.

[Orm]

"Oh." He didn't know how to respond to that so he went back to drinking.

[Tytan]

Clock sat silently and ran her hoof through Viktor's fur.

[CamoBadger]

"Char," Mirabelle looked down. "You've already got a fiance. I appreciate everything you've done, but you shouldn't be doing all this just because of an old crush."

[XT Vengeance]

"I...it isn't just an old crush Miri. I...I had a talk with Clock while you were under," Charcoal said, still looking down.

[CamoBadger]

"How did it go?" Mira asked nervously.

[XT Vengeance]

"I...I don't think she will ever want to talk to me again," Charcoal said sadly. "But...it...it had to be done Miri. I...I couldn't lie to myself and stay with her," Charcoal said softly.
