"Char... some things just don't work out. It's hard to love in the Wasteland," she told him quietly. "Things happen to tear you away from those you love."

"Yeah," Charcoal said, looking up to her. "And sometimes it brings them back to us," Charcoal said softly, smiling at her.

Mira nodded in agreement. "Sometimes, yeah." She looked up and smiled. "So, what are you going to do now?"

"I don't really know," Charcoal said. "But whatever it is...I...I want you to be there," Charcoal said softly.

Mira smiled. "I'd like that."

Clocks cheeks were bright red, and the alcohol was in full effect. Her eyes hurt from all the tears, which had thankfully run out. She started hugging Viktor like a giant teddy bear.

"You would?" Charcoal said with surprise. "I...good." The grey stallion then slowly moved closer to the mare. "I...thank you Miri. This...this means a lot to me."

"I'm the one that should be thanking you, Char," the mare replied warmly. "I didn't pay to save your life twice."

Searchlight tilted the bottle, trying to get the last few drops of whiskey from it before placing the empty bottle on the ground. He looked over at Clock hugging Viktor. "How are you feeling now?"

"The money doesn't matter Miri. What matters is that you are alive, and you are here with me," Charcoal said with a smile. He nuzzled the mare softly.

[Tytan]

"Drunk. Close enough to happy for me."

[Orm]

"Good enough, I guess."

Mira smiled and nuzzled him back. She moved her nose close to his and parted her lips, almost making contact with Charcoal's, but stopped. "Sorry," she whispered and looked down, feeling horrible for what she was about to do.

Charcoal gently lifted her chin with his hoof. "Miri...I...we should...I," Charcoal couldn't control himself and kissed the mare. He pulled away after a moment. "I...I'm sorry. I...I couldn't help myself," he said softly as he kicked himself internally. "I...we should take this slow."

Mira pulled away. "Char... this doesn't," she stopped and frowned. "You just got out of a relationship. I'm sorry... I shouldn't have been so stupid."

[XT Vengeance]

"I.. you're right. I...I'm sorry," Charcoal said, defeated. "It's not your fault Miri. I...I'm just not any good with ponies," he said softly.

[Tytan]

"Mhm." She said simply.

[CamoBadger]

"It's okay," she told him. "I just don't want you to do anything you might regret later," she said quietly and looked away.

"Thanks you Miri. You...you're the best," Charcoal said, with a small smile.

She just nodded and looked under the cover to check on Dinner Bell.

[Orm]

"How much did you drink exactly?" He said while trying to look for the bottle he had given Shayle.

[Tytan]

Clock looked at the bottle, "Bout half."

[Orm]

"Maybe you've had enough for now." He said as his magic wrapped around the bottle.

[Tytan]

She relinquished her grip on the bottle, "Kay"

[Orm]

"Maybe you should rest for a bit." He suggested to the mare.

[Tytan]

"Mmm," she murmured, already halfway there. She was rapidly falling asleep leaned up against Viktors chest.
