Quiver flies around the building, looking in for beds and denizens with his EFS.
[PER 6+1-1,-1 darkness, +2 EFS].

His EFS doesn't pick up anything living inside, but there aren't beds either.

Novae stands beside Quiver. "Makes me wonder, why no one settled near Tenpony. They could at least set up caravan stop."

[Ketchup]

"Hm, that is kind of odd. Well, there's no beds in there, and my EFS says there's nothing living in there, so it's a safe bet."

[Perception 6 (10+1)]"Hey, I can wait. At least I have company," he said with a smile as he looked around the area for a good building to ambush the scouts from.

Charcoal sees a small gas station that looks abandoned and has a good view of the shopping center.

[Katarn]

"No living...but maybe there are dead? Woooooooo." She wiggles her hooves. "Jokes aside, out of our whole group only me,Viktor and Search can't come in. I guess you should get a room inside Tenpony. And I have bedroll."

[XT Vengeance]

"Hey, that looks like a good spot for us to ambush them," he said, indicating the gas station. "Want to go wait there? At the very least we will have cover."

[CamoBadger]

"Lead the way, Raider Hunter," she replied playfully.

[Perception 6 (7+1)]Charcoal smirked at the mare, then turned and led the way to the gas station. As he entered, the grey stallion looked around the building, checking for supplies or a way to the roof.

[Ketchup]

"Alright. I'll see you tomorrow."
He gives Novae a kiss on the cheek before going in the gate. He approaches a guard.
"Who do I talk to to get a bed around here?"

Charcoal finds a lot of garbage and empty bottles lying around, as well as a few half-molded cans of open food. Behind the clerk's counter is a crooked doorway leading to a ladder that seems to go up to the roof.


The guard looked at Quiver. "Talk to the green mare in the lobby, she's in charge of rooms."

[Ketchup]

"Thank you."
He says, nodding to the guard before approaching the green pony.
"How much for a room?"

[Perception 7 (8+1)]Charcoal opened the door and trotted up to the ladder. "Let's check out the roof," he said to Mira as he climbed up. When he reached the top, he looked around, scanning for trouble.

[CamoBadger]

"100 caps per night," the mare responded quickly.

Mira nodded and followed Charcoal up to the roof.

Charcoal doesn't see anything.

Shadow follows Quiver inside"Ah already don't like this place..."He mutters to himself.

Cherry follows Shadow.

Eve tentatively follows the others inside.

[XT Vengeance]

"Well, we are clear for now. Scorch will keep an eye on things from above. So I guess that means we have nothing to do but wait," Charcoal said to his best friend. He laid down on the roof to give a lower profile to anyone who might be watching.

[Perception 10 (4+5)]Scorch flew high above the area, keeping a careful eye out for trouble.

Mira lied down beside Charcoal. "So, why do you like that Clock mare? She's nuts."

[Ketchup]

He sighs before giving 100 caps to the mare.

[Orm]

Searchlight sat against the wall of the building. He looked around and sighed, "Well I've slept in worse places." He said as he took out a bottle of whiskey and began to drink.

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal sighed. "She is just worried about me. She has lost a lot to the wasteland, just like you and me," he replied with a somber tone.

[CamoBadger]

"Thank you, here," the mare gave over a key. "Room 24, second floor."

"That makes it okay for her to try controlling you like that?" the mare asked with a confused stare. "I don't get it."

[Guest]

Shadow walks up to the desk"How much fer a room."He asks as he checks to make sure his tendril is still holding the pack in place.

[Ketchup]

"Thank you."
He takes stairs up to the second floor and enters the room. He lays on the bed and writes in his PipBuck for several minutes before falling asleep.

[XT Vengeance]

"No, it doesn't make it okay, Miri. I just...nevermind, it's stupid," he said shaking his head dismissively.

[Katarn]

"Better, than in open." Sits beside Search. "Do you think it's safe here? Maybe we should, like, find good protected room and stay there?"

[CamoBadger]

"100 caps per night," the mare replied to Shadow.

[CHR7] "Char, if something's wrong you can tell me," she assured him with a warm smile. "We're friends, you can trust me."
