"Well, I don't know about that," Charcoal said, unsure of himself.

"Try tellin' that ta the filly that lost her daddy ta these fuckers, that they deserve a second chance."He says flatly"Or did ya forget that they killed Tumble."

Viktor hold the gryphon out at arms length, "Then kill! But shadow pony be ready for Viktor drag back to Tenpony."

"Perfectly understandable." He moves a short ways from them and sits down.

[Orm]

"No, I didn't forget what happened to him. But I know killing him isn't going to magically bring him back or make her feel any better about it."

"Oh? Who could be better than the stallion who somehow remembered my name after 8 years and even paid to buy me back?"

"Well I..." Charcoal stopped mid-sentence, unable to think of anything. "Sorry," he said, rubbing the back of his head with a hoof.

"Ah know, still the guard deserves it and worse."

Cherry steps in"Search, Vik. Mind leavin' him ta me? Ya ain't gonna change his mind and the longer ya keep that guard near him more likely he's gonna kill him, consequences be damned."

"See, nobody better," she repeated with a grin.

[Orm]

"Alright." Searchlight tells Cherry before turning to the others. "Seems like everyone is ready, let's get going." He says as he starts to make his way back to Tenpony.

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal stood up and trotted off in the direction of tenpony, keeping pace with Miri.

[Tytan]

Clock followed alongside Charcoal and with Viktor not far behind.

"But, darlin' why?"

"Yer not in any condition ta piss off Vik, that's why."She sighs"Ah know ya want'im dead fer Tumble's sake. And honestly ah wouldn't mind puttin' a bullet through his skull either but we can't do that here."

"...Fine. Lets just go."Shadow slowly follows the group, his wounds still acting up.

Cherry follows at his side helping him walk, and putting a wing over Tumble's pack.

Cast follows the others.

After walking only 2 blocks, the group came across a single, well dressed stallion in the road smiling at them. "I see you've dealt with the slavers. My employer will be most pleased to hear about this," he told them all and pulled out a bag. "As promised, your payment. Did you leave any alive?" he asked.

Viktor tosses the unconscious gryphon at his feet.

[Orm]

Searchlight looked confused as to how the pony had managed to get here. "Just one. We had more, but things got a little out of hoof during the attack." He told the pony.

[CamoBadger]

"That's disappointing." The pony nodded to one side.

A pair of ragged looking earth pony mares trotted out and grabbed the unconscious body to drag it off, taking it to a building and out of sight.

"Do you have the trigger? I wouldn't want that collar going off in a few minutes," he asked as another bag of caps was placed beside the first.

[Orm]

Searchlight floats the trigger to the pony. "Here you go."

[CamoBadger]

"Perfect." The stallion took the trigger and floated it into his jacket. "I'll inform my employer of your success. If he deems it acceptable, expect to see me again," he explained with a nod before trotting off to where the other ponies had dragged the guard, leaving the 2 bags of caps behind for the group.

Searchlight watched the odd pony leave, then continued to walk back to Tenpony.

[Orm]

"Well, that was odd," Charcoal said to Mirabelle and Clock.

[Tytan]

"I'd say that was about par for the course."

[CamoBadger]

"Yeah, a little. That guy's a total asshole," the mare responded and kept walking.

[Orm]

"Well, lets just keep moving. No sense in wasting time."

[Ketchup]

Quiver flies over to where Charcoal and Miri were walking, keeping pace in midair.
"Do either of you know if there are any other settlements besides Tenpony in the area?"

[CamoBadger]

"Well, there's a few," Mira responded. "There's Arbu, Southbuck, Underworld, Brandybuck, and of course good old Candyland," she listed plainly.
