So I don't think her having trust issues is going to be a problem.

I would say that might be a possibility. Slavers probably seem pretty decent when you were just with raiders.

Well I checked the New Vegas wiki and pork 'n' beans and dirty water cost fifteen caps.

So assuming they fed her once a day she cost them 450 caps a month. Give or take.

What did she cost? 750? after two months she cost more then what she was worth. And you have to remember the slavers are businessmen. You don't keep dumping your money into a hole.
