To be fair Eve got raped,

Cherry doesn't do well being held against her will and was worried she'd got sold off without Shadow.

Shadow had to not only pick between his wife and someone he basically considered a friend to get raped by the guy that slaughtered his family but also wasn't able to help keep his best friend alive.

Or, not very likely but possible, over the course of those years she just came to accept and deal with it.

Cast was affected primarily because Tumble's death reminded him of losing his squad, he didn't know Tumble well enough to consider him more than a new friend or even an acquaintance as far as I remember. He's seen enough death and destruction that he'll probably rub some dirt on it and go back to his normal self within a few days.
