"Clock...I...I'm sorry," he says quietly, hanging his head. "I shouldn't have...it shouldn't have ever been an option. It...it isn't an option," he adds, still hating himself.

Clock smiles, tears still streaming down her cheeks,"Th-thank you... I'm sorry, I just... sometimes I can't take it. All the death, all the pain, all the misery. I... I try to keep it seperate. My life and my job. I hate Painkiller, I HATE him. How does he stay so calm and collected. I wish I knew how he did it, keep it all separate...

I love you Charcoal."

[XT Vengeance]

"You do?" Charcoal asks in surprise. "Even after everything I've put you through you still..." Charcoal grabs the light grey mare and holds her close. "I'm sorry. It's...I've just been remembering so much from the last eight years. I...I should be able to let it go but I just can't..."

[Tytan]

"I do. I love you. It's okay. Maybe... maybe we can work it out. Together." By the end Clock is starting to sound hopeful.

[XT Vengeance]

"I...I hope so," Charcoal says, unsure of himself.

[Tytan]

Clock starts rock them both back and forth slightly, humming tunelessly.

whisper to Clock:

Whisper to charcoal:

Charcoal kisses his marefriend lightly, and hugs her tightly, saying nothing.

[Tytan]

Clock tightens her hug for a moment, giving Charcoal a quick squeeze and a kiss before she rocks some more.

[Tytan]

A few minutes later the silence became awkward. "Charcoal?"

[XT Vengeance]

"Yeah?" he asks softly.

[Tytan]

"What do we do now?"

[XT Vengeance]

"I'm not really sure. I can go hunt for some food for us. Maybe find a wild radhog or something for dinner. How does that sound?"

[Tytan]

"Sounds good... I'm going to... investigate, or something. I'm just gonna keep myself busy so I'm not alone with my thoughts."

[XT Vengeance]

"Yeah. I'll be back at the tavern later. I'm sure they have a kitchen or something." Charcoal gets up and gathers his things. "That sound good?"

[Tytan]

"Yeah... Seeyah."

[XT Vengeance]

[Perception 7 (8+2) Survival 50 (46)]Charcoal trots outside and exits the town. He looks around for any signs of small wildlife like a radhog.

[CamoBadger]

A pair of radhogs are walking about 200 meters from the town gate.

[XT Vengeance]

[combat (16+2+2+2)] Charcoal sights in and fires a shot at one of the radhogs.

[combat (2+2)]Scorch swoops in at the other radhog, and ends up with his talons stuck in the ground.

Cherry wonders into the tavern"Damn, that boy has more mood swings then my mama." She bumps into Clock and stares at her "Ms.Clockwork."she says in a slight disgusted tone

[Tytan]

"Cherry..." Clocks tone suggests that she'd have rather not had this particular encounter.

One raghog fell and the other started running away.

[XT Vengeance]

[combat (6+2+2+2) Luck 7 (9+2) (10+2)]Charcoal fires another shot, killing the last radhog as it tried to run. He then moves to scrounge from the bodies.

"....This is more difficult then ah thought..." She looks around the tavern trying to find something to do. Not finding any, she sighs"...So what kind music ya like?" She asks awkwardly

Charcoal finds:
- 4 pieces of radhog meat

[Tytan]

Clock understands what Cherry is trying to do. She goes along with it, "I... don't get the opportunity to listen to a lot of music... but I like the music DJ-Pon3 plays."

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal takes the radhog meat and does what he can to move the bodies to a ditch a bit away from town. He heads back to town, Scorch perched on his back. Charcoal and scorch have a small chat along the way until he reaches the entrance to the tavern. "All right, I'll see you later."

With a squawk, Scorch takes off, heading to his favorite rooftop in the town.

Charcoal trots into the tavern and asks around for something he could use to cook dinner for him and Clock.

"Just old Pon-3, huh? Not a very big selection then."

[Tytan]

"Well, we dirtsiders don't have much of a selection."
