"That was terrible," Charcoal says to the mare. He takes a seat on the ground outside the bar.

[Tytan]

Clock grins, "It was. My pun was terrible and I am sorry."

[XT Vengeance]

"It's alright Clock. I'd give you a hug if it wouldn't hurt," Charcoal says with a small grin.

[Tytan]

"A problem easily solved." Clock hugs Charcoal around the neck.

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal rubs his head against the mare. "Thanks. I, uh...I'll try not to get hurt this badly again."

[Tytan]

"If you do, make sure I'm there to help."

[XT Vengeance]

"Next time bring stimpacks," he says with a chuckle. He then cringes in pain.

[Tytan]

"Yeah, that was kind of an oversight on my part."

[Guest]

Night setting in the two retired to Barb's tent.

As the day went on the filly seemed to grow more and more upset.

"We'll go back in the morning." He said trotting past her to a corner of the tent and lying down.

The filly's ears perked up a smile crossing her features. Her hooves wrapped around his neck.

A tiny yawn escaped her and she was gently scooped up in Tumble's magic and packed away.

[XT Vengeance]

"Just a bit," he says jokingly. He nudges the mare with his snout.

[Tytan]

Clock giggles, "Mhm."

[Katarn]

"Someone find any hint on what happened here or where folks gone?" Jayne said loudly.

[Ironmonger]

"Zere is evidence zat zeh town's people were all killed. Only real clue I know of so far is zeh robot found bloody writing saying somezing about a fallen king" He says back.

[Katarn]

Looks at Iron in confusion. "Fallen king?"

"Those ninja-zebras from earlier reminded me about zebra's culture something. We had as supreme ruler Caesar...but it's can't be call'd 'king'. And Equestria had princess..maybe where's princess, there is queen and there are king?"

[Orm]

Searchlight looks at the trail leading south out of town. "Well it looks like whoever attacked this place left a trail." He says to the group. "If we follow it we should be able to find them."

[Ironmonger]

"I vould not know, I may be vell- read but I know nozing of kings."

[Katarn]

"Or walk into the trap." Jayne add. "Do you think it's worth looking?"

[XT Vengeance]

"That sounds like a lead," Charcoal says to Searchlight. He stands up, grunting from the effort. "I think we should follow it."

[Ironmonger]

"I do not like zeh idea, vee already have one person vounded badly, it could just snowball from zere."

[Orm]

Searchlight looks away from the trail."We could look around in more empty shacks for a few more hours if you think that would be a better idea." He says in response to Jayne.

[Katarn]

"And who will be dragging him?" Jayne points at Char.

[XT Vengeance]

"Don't you worry about me. We agreed to do the job. Now I'm going. Follow or don't," Charcoal says evenly. He walks over to Searchlight and begins to follow the trail, hobbling the whole way. Charcoal growls at Jayne for his comment, but keeps moving.

[Katarn]

Faceclaw.

"Wow."

"What?"

"Someone beside me made you do that."

Sigh.

Both catch up with Char and walk beside him.

[Orm]

Searchlight looks at Charcoal then back at Jayne. "Well there you have it." He says before turning to follow the trail.

[Ironmonger]

"However..." he continued "It's probably our only option. I don't like it, but I zink ve should follow zeh trail." He follows the others.

Eve follows the group.

((2 hours later))

After following the tracks, the group finds themselves overlooking what might have been a town at one point, but has since fallen into one of the circles of hell. Flayed bodies and decapitated heads have been put up for display outside every building along with bloody graffiti and entrails cast over roofs like decorations for a celebration.
Screams crack through the night from several of the buildings in town, followed by sick laughs or moans of disturbing lust. The largest building, a long since dead tree that was apparently someone's home at one point, seems to be the center of the Raider city and is surrounded by fire pits as those not partaking in the spoils of their raid drink and not-quite-sing about their exploits and defilement of those they spare.

At the center of the group, Quiver's PipBuck rings and marks the town on his map. 'Ponyville'.

[Ketchup]

Quiver follows as well.

[Perception 10 (8+5)]Scorch flies over the town looking for any signs of movement.

"Raiders. We have to help the captives," Charcoal whispers, suddenly very angry.

[Katarn]

Novae moves little away from group. Gurgle can be heard from where she was standing.

"That's one messed up...town..."
