"It's fine." He gathers up his caps and exits the shop. He then makes his way to Boomsticks, once inside he waits behind Eve.

Eve nods and passes 200 caps over the counter, taking the scope and attaching it to the top of the Ratslayer. She pauses for a moment before leaving the store. "...Thanks." She enters the tavern, sitting as far away as possible from anyone else.

He steps up to the counter. "Hear anything from Ditzy?"

"Sure did, she found something that sounded like what you were looking for. 1400 caps if you're still interested."

"It's a bit out of my price range right now." Tumble taps his hoof on the counter. "What if I give you three hundred and you hold on to it for me? Like a down payment."

"I can do that."

He floats the caps over to the stallion. With his business done he heads to the tavern.

He starts to trot over to Cherry and Shadow, but Cherry looked pretty ticked off at the moment. So instead he trotted over to Eve and took a seat.

Flower climbed into a chair next to Eve. "Hi Ms. Eve!"

Eve sighs quietly. "Hi."

[Guest]

Flower gives Eve a hopeful smile her next question obvious.

Eve shakes her head, and there is a hint of sadness in her voice. She knew Flower wouldn't like the answer. "Sorry. Not with so many people around."

Flower makes a whimpering sound and lies her head on the table.

Eve watches Flower for a moment, then looks at Tumble, expecting him to say or do something.

"What?"

[MrMagma]

"What do you mean 'what'?"

[Guest]

"Do you want something? You're looking at me like you do."

[MrMagma]

"Not really. Just thought you'd have something to say." She replies in a dismissive tone.

Charcoal finishes his book, and pulls out his copy of How to Spot a Spy.

"Okay." He floats Flower away into his pack. "Better?"

[MrMagma]

"Yeah, I guess." She mumbles, more to herself than anyone else.

[Orm]

Searchlight waits for everyone to enter the tavern before telling everyone to gather around at a table in the back of the tavern. He looks around the table before speaking. He quietly repeats to the group what Ditzy had told him, but he doesn't mention anything about their leader.

[Ironmonger]

"Vell, zey are not a mercenary organization like I zought, but zis confirms zat zey are organised like I had feared." he says, thinking over what the group has just been told.

[Ketchup]

"So that's what Ditzy told you. She told me to ask you about the trinket she saw back on the scavenging run. She... didn't feel safe about saying anything. Do you know why?"

[Orm]

"They don't exactly like ghouls telling non-ghouls about them. She must have been afraid that something might happen to her if she told you."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"Question, what do they think of ghouls from after the bombs?" Painkiller asks.

[Ketchup]

"I guess that makes sense."
Quiver pauses for a moment.
"What are we going to do about them? There's not much information about them that we can use."

[Orm]

"I don't know." He says to Painkiller. "I just heard of them yesterday, I don't know everything there is to know about them.."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"It was more of a speculative question." Painkiller returns. "Best way to slay a hydra is from the inside, so I hear tell."
