Dr. Octo looks on, stunned. "What the- Crusher, do something!"
Crusher steps forward as if to do something, and immediately falls flat in his face.

[XT Vengeance]

"Clock...I'm okay..." Charcoal wheezes. "Don't," he lets out a retching cough. "Don't worry about me."

[Katarn]

"Are you sure you're okay? Your cyber leg looks damaged...a little." Novae peeps from behind Quiver.

[XT Vengeance]

"SCREECH!" Scorch lands in front of Novae, flapping his wings at her menacingly. He didn't like the way she was looking at Charcoal's cyber leg.

[Orm]

"Charcoal, what were you thinking? You could have gotten yourself killed."

[Katarn]

"Oh come one! I just want to help! Why so aggressive out of sudden?"

[XT Vengeance]

Scorch lets out a low hiss at the zebra mare. He then turns to his injured friend and nuzzles him with his beak.

"Thanks Scorch. I...I'll be fine," he says quietly to his best friend, ignoring the others.

[Katarn]

"Fine!" She stomps. "No more snacks...for both of you!"

Eve ignores the situation in front of her, [Perception 6; 10+1] and looks around the area.

[CamoBadger]

Seeing the group distracted by the injured Charcoal, the sand all around the group erupts as 10 more zebras in raider armor leap forth to attack.
(Zebra Raider Party ; 2 actions per round)

[2 vs Jayne: 6 [AGL2], 5 [AGL9]] The first two jump on Jayne in an attempt to strike, but both miss their marks and try to dash away from any counter attacks. Only one is quick enough to disappear back into the sand.

[2 vs Novae: 13 (6 damage) [AGL7], 7 [AGL5]] Another two turn on Novae, one managing to strike her in the back of the neck while the other missed before they both dove back into the sand and disappeared.

[2 vs Viktor: 16 (8+1= 9 damage) [AGL1], 10 [AGL5]] Two more go for Viktor, one managing to kick into the dog's leg but tripping before he can escape. The other misses but quickly dives back into the sand.

[2 vs Quiver: 19 (9+5= 14 damage) [AGL1], 7 [AGL9]] Another pair kick at Quiver, one managing to hit him hard in the chest but unable to escape. The other misses but dashes off and disappears into the dunes.

[2 vs Clockwork: 1, 12 (1+6-1= 6 damage) [AGL6]] The last two go at Clockwork. One of them lands badly and takes a bad fall, cracking his neck on a rock. The other hits the mare in the side and quickly jumps back into the sand to disappear.

(9 Zebra Raiders remain. 6 hidden)

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron fires his rifle at one of the zebras. (d20=20) (5)

[XT Vengeance]

[combat (3+2+2+2)]Charcoal attempts to fire his rifle at the zebra that attacked Clock, but his shot goes wild. "FUCK!" he yells aloud.

[combat (10+2)]Scorch lights the raider attacking Clock on fire.

[15+2] Eve draws her Ratslayer, and fires a quick shot, killing one of the zebra raiders.

[Tytan]

[Before attack]Clock somehow manages to be furious and concerned at the same time, "Don't worry about you?! You just jumped on a bunch of grenades! Of course I'm worried about you!"

[After attack]"Gah! That's a dirty trick!" [Agl 10-1] Clock angrily fires three shots. (13)(12)(13)

Quiver fires on the one that kicked him, killing him with a single bullet to the eye. He fires at another zebra, but misses.

[Perception 10; 8+5] Dr. Octo tries to spot the hidden zebras before they come up to attack again.

[Ironmonger]

"Hmmph, clevuh." He mutters to himself

[CamoBadger]

((6 Zebra Raiders Remain))

[2 vs Viktor: 4 [AGL10], 20 (6+4= 10 damage Cripple Roll: 13 - Leg Crippled) [AGL4]] Two dive back out at Viktor, one missing but quickly getting back into hiding, while the other takes extra time to deliver a hard strike to Viktor's legs, crippling one.

[2 vs Scorch: 2, 19 (7+2= 9 damage) [AGL6]] Two more jump for Scorch, but one misses and ends up landing wrong and breaking his neck. The other strikes hard into the bird's chest before diving down and hiding again.

[2 vs Cast Iron: 1, 5 [AGL3]] The last two go for Cast Iron. One of them misses his strike and tumbles, falling and snapping her back roughly. The other misses and tries to escape, but trips and starts crawling to try and escape before he's noticed.

((4 Zebra Raiders Remain. 2 Hidden))

Quiver kills one of the zebras.

[Agility 8; 5+3] [17+2, 6+2] Eve fires 2 shots from her Ratslayer. One hits, the other misses.

[2 vs Quiver: 8 [AGL3], 9 [19 (8+1= 9 damage)]] The last 2 zebras appear again, charging for Quiver. One misses and gets poor footing on her landing, falling to her haunches. The other jumps out and misses as well, but stops before he goes back to hiding, deciding to attack instead and stand by his wife, landing a hard hit on Quiver's side.

Quiver shoots the buck in the chest.

Charcoal lays down in the sand, his strength having left him and the Med-X having worn off. He lays there, not even caring about the dead bodies, too focused on the pain in his chest and legs.

Clock is very concerned, "Char, are you okay?"

"Not really. I should have seen this coming, Clock," he replies quietly.
