"Squawk," Scorch says, landing on Charcoal's back.

"He says he didn't see anything. That doesn't mean there isn't anyone around though."

"A ghoul...on a dragon?" the mare asked with a small shiver in her voice. "I heard some ponies survived... how did you escape that?"

[Ketchup]

"We may know what, but we still don't know who."

[XT Vengeance]

"We carried them and we ran really, really fast."

[CamoBadger]

"I'm glad you got away... that must have been awful," the mare said sadly and shook her head. "We should hurry. I'll grab as much as I can, you just make sure nothing sneaks up on us."

[Orm]

Searchlight took his hat off as he saw what had become of the town. He remained quiet for a minute before putting back on. "Will do, ma'am. I think it would be safer if I went with you, just in case something happens." Searchlight says to Ditsy.

[Ketchup]

"You're the boss. Will do."
Quiver flies atop the tallest point still standing and takes watch.

"Scorch, you keep an eye out from above. I'm going to look around, see if I can find anything. I'll stay within hearing range."

With a squawk Scorch files up to keep an eye on the area from above.

"Thank you," the mare replied and started trotting through the rubble, gently moving it while searching for anything useful. She does her best not to disturb the bodies, but still takes any guns or armor that would be best out of raider hooves.

Quiver can't notice anything as he looks around, and the town remains eerily still as Ditsy searches for any supplies.

[perception 7 (6+2)]Charcoal looks through the rubble for any containers that might hold something of value.

Quiver makes sure he can see Ditsy and Searchlight at all times.
"Eerie."

Charcoal finds a few lockboxes and a safe, but it's too big to move. He also finds a half burned metal pin that looks identical to the ones they found on each of the Ghoul leaders during their fight days before.

Ditsy continued trotting through the rubble, pulling out whatever she thinks she can sell and tossing it into the back of the cart before returning to the search. She works on the buildings first, but after about 30 minutes she moves on to the bodies.

"Hey Quiver! Come over here would you?"

[Ketchup]

"Sure Charcoal."
He glides down to his position cautiously.
"Whaddya need?"

"You are good with locks, right? Can you give these a try?"

As Scorch flies over the crater on another pass, he notices a series of ripples across the green fluid inside the crater. He can see some other movement in the darkness of the pit, but it stops as soon as whatever it is sees the bird overhead.

"Yes, sweetie?"She smiles

Scorch cocks his head to the side, but keeps flying. Squawk...squawkity kaw kakaw squawk, he thinks to himself. He keeps an eye on the lake.
