"I know. She was crying in the tunnel. I don't know what to do about it though. I told her I'm still here."

"Why are ya mad at yer daddy, sweetie?"She sits down and rubs her back.

"Ah wish ah could help ya, but this kinda stuff isn't particularly my strong suit."He shrugs"Maybe just try ta talk ta her?"

"He told the lady we'd go in the hole."

"Not really my strong suit either."

"Well, sweetpea. The reason went down inta the hole was so, we could keep ya and other foals safe. He didn't mean fer ya ta get scared."

"Well, maybe Cherry will sort everythin' out."

[CamoBadger]

Ditsy walked into the shop and grinned at the group that had gathered to help her. "Thank you all so much! Are you ready to head out?"

[Orm]

"Ready to go whenever you are ma'am." Searchlight says to Ditsy.

[Ketchup]

"I'm ready, not sure if that goes for everyone, though."

[XT Vengeance]

"Kaw!" Scorch salutes with his wing.

"I'm sure ready ma'am. Scorch and I will do everything we can to get you where you are going.

[Guest]

"Awe they better then me Chewwy?"

[CamoBadger]

"Great!" the mare waved with a bony wing for them to follow and trotted out behind her store. An empty cargo cart was sitting in the ally with a harness attached to the front and a small talisman where it latched onto the cargo bay. The mare trotted over to open up the back. "I know some of you can't fly, so you need to ride in the back. Sorry if it's not comfy, but I'll try to keep it a smooth ride," she explained with a smile.

Cherry shakes her head"No, sweetie, they ain't better then you."She nuzzles her"Yer the bestest filly around."

[XT Vengeance]

"Alright then." Charcoal trots into the cart and sits down.

Searchlight takes a seat in the cart.

[Ketchup]

"How far will we be going, Miss Doo?"
Quiver asks while stretching his wings.

[CamoBadger]

"Uh, it's about 8 hours flying from here. Have you heard of Freemane?" the mare asked while she strapped herself to the front of the cart.

[Ketchup]

Quiver frowns.
"I can't say I have. Stable Pony."
He gestures to his PipBuck.

[XT Vengeance]

"Freemane?" Charcoal asks from inside the cart. He trots to the back. "We were there when the town got destroyed. Why are we going there?"

[CamoBadger]

"I'm hoping to get to the supplies there before any Raiders do," Ditsy replied somberly. "I feel bad taking things so soon after the attack, but I think it'll be better than letting murderers get to it."

[Ketchup]

"Oh, that was Freemane. My mistake."

[XT Vengeance]

"Yes. Anyone getting them is far better than those animals. Lets go."

[Ketchup]

"I agree. Let's make haste."

[CamoBadger]

"Alright, hold on tight," the mare chirped before trotting the cart out to the highway. She stretched out her wings and flapped a few times, then sprinted down the highway before taking off and taking up a vector to Freemane.

((8 hours later))

The cart touches down roughly on the outskirts of what was once Freemane. When the group looks to what was once a town, all they see is collapsed and burned shacks. Skeletons and half-burned corpses, both ghoul and pony, litter the ground among the rubble, and the scent of smoke still hangs heavily in the air. Where the town hall used to stand is a gaping crater. In the pale light of morning, a soft green glow emanates from the hole.

As soon as Quiver lands, his pipbuck starts clicking slowly as the Geiger Counter starts picking up the traces of radiation from the balefire that burned the town.

[XT Vengeance]

[Perception 10 (8+5)] Scorch, soaring above where they landed, checks out the area, looking for trouble.

[CamoBadger]

As the phoenix flies, he can see nothing around where they landed. As he goes over the town, he sees that the crater is filled with a glowing green fluid. Nothing appears to be moving in the town or around it.

[CamoBadger]

"This..." Ditsy disconnects herself from the cart and whimpers at the sight of the town. "This is... who could do this? These were all good ponies!"

[Ketchup]

"Looks like we can stay here for at least a little while without much trouble. The radiation isn't that bad here. Let's not dawdle."
Quiver also regards his surroundings.

That makes her smile a little. "Thank you Chewwy."

"Hey, it's the truth, sweetpea.*nuzzles Flower*"

Quiver notices nothing special among the bodies and rubble.

[Ketchup]

Quiver pales at the sight of the bodies.
"Whoever they really were, I hope the aren't still around. So many dead..."
