Painkiller stops his scrubbing, his parts are clean again and he puts his brush away. "They hunt down and hoard technology from before the bombs. It doesn't matter to them who is currently in possession of it. They wil take it. More than likely if they get a hold of you or me, they will take your legs, my eyes and wings. That stable pony? they will take his pipbuck without a second thought. they're little more than pirates. Anyone that resists their efforts are immediately killed. They do nothing for anypony else, even if you were to crawl up to their front door dying. They won't care."

"Uhh alright." He says hesitantly. A field surrounds Both of them the two of them are barely lifted before they're dropped. The field surrounds just cherry and he still doesn't manage to lift her. "Sorry Bud, I guess I tired myself out down there."

"Some would say the same about pegusi and the Enclave. At least the Rangers are down here doing something." He says to Painkiller.

He looks unconvinced, a look of disdain apparent on his face. "Perhaps ve cyborgs should keep our augments hidden, just be safe."

"...I'll stay with you, but I think you need to slow down. I've heard stories, ponies trying to fix the wasteland... break. It's too much responsibility for one pony, they start blaming themselves for every tragedy. The guilt starts tearing them apart.

I've been down here for almost four years now. If they were to mobilize to stabilize they would be able to do a lot of good for the wastes. We've all lived the hell they neglect, some of us more than most." He takes a glance at Searchlight with his last statement.

"I'll be right back." He Trots his way back into NA and to the inn." Hey do you have a ladder? My friend can't get out of the sinkhole."

"I...I'll try...if...if only for you...I," he stops, the words catching in his throat. he struggles to say more but he can't.

"Hey!" Martini calls down to Tumble, Cherry and Shadow from the wall.

"I think I will, thank you very much. It was a privilege to see the sun, and well, it sucks to miss it for so long, but for all the time you've lived here, you've managed to keep your horn. I'm just grateful I am alive." Painkiller is conciliatory. "So the sun Does shine In Germaney."

Lotus quietly turned around and whispered into Shadow's ear. "I might fart."

The two instantly disappeared and reappeared on the walls with Cherry and Shadow.

"Usually, ven it isn't raining or just cloudy zat is. How come zeh clouds never part in Equestria.?"

Shadow shakes his head once they re-appear"Uh, thanks, ah guess..."

Cherry nods"Yeah, thank ya ma'am."

Clock gives him a sly smile, "Neither can I." She brushes her hoof against his mechanical leg, "Make sure you bring your little magic workers."
