He eyes Silver suspiciously. "Instead of making them do what you pay them for you're going to hire more people?"

He looks at the people around him who were now suddenly jumping at the opportunity to return to the place that had almost cost them their lives and shakes his head.

[CamoBadger]

"Like I said," Star continued calmly. "I do not want you to endanger yourselves. Just tell me what you find. If what you find is an army, tell me that and I will find a group more...fit, to take on such a force."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"I'm going to look at the Ghoul who was shooting guards inside the camp."

Painkiller makes a logical assumption. He was already a corpse so its not like a corpse's corpse was going to move, its being double dead.

He approaches Viktor and asks, "You mind showing me where you put that dead pony you crushed?"

[Guest]

"That sounds like a chall-"

Shadow covers her mouth with a hoof"Shh, lets just take the job as is. No need ta get more attention then need be."He says quietly

"...Fine."

[Guest]

"Fine, I'll go."

[Orm]

Searchlight walks next to Tumbleweed.

whisper to Tumbleweed:

"Well, it sounds like we are all in agreement then I suppose. Lets get moving."

Shadow and Cherry start walking toward what was Fiddlers hoof

Tumble floats his daughter into his pack and follows the others.

[CamoBadger]

"Excellent, I'll be staying in the Inn here whenever you return!" Star replied with a wave before trotting back to the Salty Lick.

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron follows at a fast marching pace.

It took nearly half a day for the group to be in sight of Fiddler's Hoof. The pale light of day was beginning to fade as the night closed in. Looking over the destroyed outpost, the group can see a few equine shapes prowling around the burnt outpost, but it hardly looks like a big threat. From how far away they are, it it impossible to tell who the shapes are.

[XT Vengeance]

"Hmm. I don't like the looks of that. Scorch, you mind checking this out?"

"Squawk!" he replies saluting with his wing. Scorch takes off into the sky flying far above the camp.

[Guest]

Tumbles eyes follow the shapes as they mull about. "Doesn't look like the force that attacked us."

[Ketchup]

"Perhaps they only left a few there, or they aren't the same ponies at all."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller taps his hoof impatiently, "I still think we could have found something on that ghoul. Might not have had to make this trip if there was a note that said 'Death to the Infidels, Love Caesar.'"

[Ironmonger]

"Scavengers?" he boomed.

[Guest]

"Just in case." His shotgun floats out of it's holster.

[CamoBadger]

Flying over, Scorch can tell that there are 5 armed equines prowling vigilantly around the compound. Inside there are 3 more rummaging through the rubble, and one pony almost twice as large as the others wearing spiked heavy armor and wearing a battle saddle.

[XT Vengeance]

Scorch soars back, landing in front of Charcoal. "Squawk. Squawk squawkity squawk squawk squawk," he explains.

"He says that there are five armed contacts outside the fence, and three inside along with one he says is larger than Cast," Charcoal translates for the group.

"This will be interesting. I suggest we take out the ones outside as quickly as possible, then focus on the big one."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"Wouldn't it be best to wait until dark and take out the perimeter guards under the cover of darkness and carefully work our way in?"

the doctor says aloud.

[XT Vengeance]

"That would be great, but they will hear the gunshots."

[Guest]

"Is that good enough for Silver?"

[Ketchup]

"I don't think so. We don't know who. We just now what is there now."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"So don't use guns..." Painkiller simply states.

[Ketchup]

"Well, if we get spotted they will use their guns on us. Same effect."

[XT Vengeance]

"Even if we did that, and I sure as hell won't. They would likely cry out when they notice us. I doubt we can take them all out silently."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"We could send in the pegasi when its dark, hard to see shapes against a dark sky, especially when you don't know to look up. No pony ever checks the ceiling you know. All we need is for somepony to listen in."
