Scorch flies off with a squawk, leaving the two ponies alone.

[Tytan]

Clock sits next to Charcoal and nuzzles up to him. She stays quiet for a long time, enjoying the sensation of Charcoals body radiating heat. "You're very comfy."

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal wraps his right fore-hoof around Clock's shoulder. "This is nice," he says softly to her, just enjoying the mare's company.

[Tytan]

Clock inhales his scent... Leather, gun oil, something animal (probably Scorch), and a hint of dust. She wistfully sighs, "This is nice... I could get used to this."

[XT Vengeance]

"Me too. I really like this...I really like you Clock," he says, nuzzling the pale grey mare.

[Tytan]

"I really like you too Char. I've had relationships before, but they were all fleeting. None of them lasted very long. But you... You feel... different."

[XT Vengeance]

"Different good?" he asks, hope filling his voice.

[Tytan]

"I... I'm not sure. I think so. I haven't felt this way about anything in a long time."

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal smiles at Clock, nuzzling her cheek. "That's why I want to take things slow. If we rush we will just mess things up. I...I just want you to know that I'll be here for you. No matter what you decide."

[Tytan]

"Thanks... I'm starting to wonder who is helping who."

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal smiles. "I guess you could just say we are helping each other."

[Tytan]

"I can work with that." She rests her head on his shoulder.

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal sits there, content with his situation, forgetting all of his worries as he just enjoys Clocks company. Happy to have her warm body leaning against his shoulder.

((Well, I'm gonna go to sleep. It's been a long ass day. I'll see you all either tomorrow or the next day.))

[XT Vengeance]

((I'm back.))
Charcoal nuzzles Clock, enjoying every second of the time they were spending together. "Oh. I forgot to give you this," he says, opening his saddlebags and removing a covered bowl. "It's what was left of the pasta. I know how much you liked it."

[Tytan]

Clock looks at the bowl and takes it. She gives Char an extra nuzzle, "Aww. Thanks. I do like it."

[XT Vengeance]

"I'm glad you do. Just add a little bit of water when you heat it up. It should make the saucy creamy again," he suggests.
((Quick question; Is clock's mane still in a bun?))

[Tytan]

"Thanks. I think this'll be dinner." Clock sat there, the silence getting a little awkward.

((Nope, in a ponytail.

Sorry, I've been busy.))

[XT Vengeance]

((No problem.))
'I uh...I really like it when you put your mane in a bun...it's cute..." Charcoal says, trying to break the silence.

[Tytan]

"Hm? You do? Mama taught me all sorts of ways to style your mane. She said it was useful for her old job."

[XT Vengeance]

"I think it looks really good on you...but it looks good now too," he adds quickly.

[Tytan]

Clock snorts and giggles. "Kiss-ass," she says in a playful tone.

[XT Vengeance]

"But I didn't...I meant that...I don't..." he stammers in reply.

[Tytan]

Clock bumps him a little, still giggling, "You try too hard to please everyone. Not that it's a bad thing, but sometimes just enough is more than enough."

[XT Vengeance]

"I do? I was just trying to...you know...compliment you," he says awkwardly. "I heard mares like that..."

[Tytan]

"Oh, we do. We like it a lot. But if you do it to much, then it loses meaning. To much of a good thing and all that."

"Oh...sorry. I'm not really good at this." Charcoal rubs the back of his head with his mechanical hoof.

[Tytan]

"That's why I'm teaching you. If I didn't, then you'd have to figure it out all on your own."

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal smiles at the mare. "Thank you. For giving me a chance."

[Tytan]

"It's the easiest thing to give, but sometimes it's the most important."
