"Please understand that this is really hard to talk about. It's... Not easy being a doctor. It's a lot of stress and grief. I am a good doctor, I know I am because of the many lives I've saved. But it feels like I'm not allowed to grieve for the ones I've lost. Like its shameful to do so. So I bottle it up, and sometimes I just... Can't."

Shadow nods"Ah understand, ya can talk 'bout it whenever yer ready, Clock."He smiles

Cherry leans over and nuzzles Clock"Yeah, just tell us whatever ya feel comfortable with."

[Tytan]

"I'm trying... but I can't. I can't talk about them. If I do then maybe I'll figure out what I did wrong, what I could've done to... keep them safe."

[Guest]

Shadow looks down"Oh, it's one of those cases.... If it helps, ah've been in the same situation as ya have doc."

[Tytan]

"I already talked about one. The mother and her child. I should've stayed up. That's what you're supposed to do, but I didn't and a foal died. There's dozens more that I try not to think about. I'm not supposed to feel bad, doctors aren't supposed to feel bad about death."

[Guest]

"Sugar cube, it's all right ta feel bad. That's normal, even if yer used ta it. But what makes ya special is that ya keep goin' and ya keep fixin' folks."She gives a reassuring smile

[Tytan]

Tears well up in her eyes, "I do... or I try. But... I see them. When I sleep I see them. And... they're blaming me." Tears roll down her cheek.

Cherry climbs over onto the other side of Clock and wraps her wings around her"Shh, it's all right, sugar, ah'm right here."She nuzzles Clock

Shadow cuddles closer to Clock"Yeah, it's all right, Clock, it ain't yer fault. Ya did all ya could."

[Tytan]

Clock sobs, "I don't know if I did or not. Was I being lazy? Did I make a stupid mistake? Did I do something wrong?"

[Guest]

"Clock, ah'm sure ya did everythin' ya could. Ah can't see ya forgettin' somethin'. Or bein' lazy. Ya did what ya could, that's anyone could ask of ya."

[Tytan]

"Why didn't I do more? Something, anything."

[Guest]

"Sweetie, ya did all ya could. Ya can't know everythin', sometimes things just happen. Ah know if ya could of, ya woulda stopped it from happenin'."

[Tytan]

Clock screws her eyes shut, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

[Guest]

Cherry hugs her tighter"It's all right, sweetie."

Shadow nuzzles Clock

[Tytan]

Clock keeps opens her eyes, she's still crying a little. "Thank you... for listening. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to dump this all on you, I just needed to confess to someone."

[Guest]

"It's quite all right, Clock, it's the least we do."He smiles

"Yeah, that's what we're here for, sugar cube."Cherry nuzzles Clock.

((I gotta go to my lab. See you later.))

"Thank you." Clock hugs them, "I'm sorry I ruined the moment."

[Guest]

"Don't ya worry 'bout that, ya didn't ruin anythin'."She kisses Clocks cheek.

"Yeah, it's fine, Clock, we all need ta vent every once in awhile."

Cherry looks at Shadow"Love, ah really don't think yer the best person ta talk 'bout that."

[Tytan]

"I really am sorry, but thank you... for understanding."

((Gotta run a quick errand, be back in twenty minutes or so.))

[Guest]

"It's not a problem, Clock. That's what we're here for, besides what else could we be doin' right now?"

[Tytan]

"Spying on Whisper?"

[Guest]

"Why would we do that?"Shadow raises his eyebrow

"Because he's on his first real date?"

Shadow shrugs"Ah still don't see the point. Ah mean what's the worst that they can do?"

[Tytan]

"Depends on your definition of worst I guess."

Cherry starts to look worried

"The worst ah can see happenin' is the boy decides ta play doctor."

"Y-ya don't think he would, do ya?"

"Nah, ah'm sure he's fine, love."

She still looks worried"B-but what if they deiced ta have sex or.."

"Love, that ain't gonna happen, right, Clock?"

[Tytan]

"He seems the gentlecoltly sort. He won't force it. He'll wait until she's ready. And from what I can tell, she ain't ready."

[Guest]

"See, Whisper's a good boy. They'll be just fine, love, relax."

Cherry seems to calm down"R-right, they ain't gonna do that. Not yet."She weakly smiles.

[Tytan]

Clock gives Blossom a kiss, "Love, you're barely old enough to be a mother. You won't have to worry about being a grandmother for a good long while."

[Guest]

"Yeah, Blossom, we're gonna be fine."He smiles at her"Ah sure they're just talkin'."

"R-right."She smiles"So, Clock, happy ya joined us?"
